Be wary with this as i think they've been playing with a lot of their warehouse prices (which are hard to track). I was watching 3 different TV's last week to see if i could get a deal with the 20% student discount but they stayed at silly prices, then on saturday the day after the 20% discount finished all 3 dropped to about the level they would have been with 20% off........then last night i noticed that all 3 had risen again by about £50, et voila, this morning I wake to see a £50 discount.
In my opinion, Amazon are becoming very tricky on a lot of their pricing lately and really putting me off using them. It's as if they think we're all idiots!

Just had a quick look at this, I've been buying stuff on Warehouse as I had a 20% discount as a student. I have noticed the prices of items appear to have increased for the promotion.

That explains why my basket of warehouse goods just shot up by a few hundred in price.

Preferred the 20% student discount on pretty much ANY amazon warehouse order. That has ended now :(.

Looking at a lumia 950. Promo works if you buy black but doesn't work on white.

I recently bought a like new iphone off them. it had 20% student discount and 10 months apple g'tee. it had been sitting on a shelf before. I checked with amazon and they give a 12 month g'tee with money back if a fault develops.

it's worth doing on warehouse goods. if it hadn't been as described then you have 30 days to return for a refund too.

no warranty though
why not? you get 12 months on any warehouse item usually, can you link to where it says you don't?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dwarehouse-deals&field-keywords=
Do products come with a warranty?
No. Used products generally do not come with a manufacturer's warranty but all of our items are backed by Amazon’s satisfaction guarantee.
That's the manufacturers warranty, what about Amazon's guarantee. Does that not cover you for 12 months?

Be careful with phones.

I bought a warehouse Samsung S4 mini "as new" - looked new but it turned out it had been rooted by the previous owner and would not accept any Samsung updates.

Returned for full refund - no quibbles from Amazon about that, just a bit of a faff!

Oh, also I am not seeing this deal on the Amazon warehouse pages either?

I've had mixed experiences recently.

Got a Galaxy S7 'very good condition' (damaged packaging) last week for just over £300. Took ages to arrive, phone was perfect except for being a German model (EU plug and some stock apps in German)! Had a whinge at Amazon, they gave me £60 back no quibble.

Got a GTX 1070 for just over £300, again 'very good condition'. Was absolutely mint, just missing a few I/O covers. Had a whinge, again spontaneously offered £60 back.

Conversely, ordered a limited edition copy of a PS Vita came called Yomawari. Described as 'factory sealed'. Was certainly not factory sealed and packaging was absolutely destroyed, which is particularly frustrating for a limited edition game. Returning it in the next couple of days.

Win some lose some, though mostly win in my case. I just wish they'd describe things a bit more accurately!

£158.18 is this a good price for Wii U? Been wanting to buy one for quite some time, any opinions? It comes with windwaker.

The Wii U has a great catalogue of games at this stage but there won't be many new games coming out in the future as the console has now been discontinued. This could lead to some deep discounts from retailers as they try to shift stock for the Nintendo Switch coming out. It's not a bad price but I could see you getting a really good bundle for this price near or after Christmas.

As mentioned above, prices have gone up for the alleged promotion. Its likely you will see a slight discount compared to what you might pay when bidding at an auction on say Ebay. Here's the thing though, its all about getting the consumer to buy stuff and get them to stick their common sense to one side buying things that they might not otherwise buy and lets face it HUKD is in direct partnership with Amazon.

That's exactly what was going through mind, the current games look amazing and there's been some Wii ones I've never tried but am interested in.

Ended up buying it since there was 1 in stock and the impulsive consumer in me just shouted 'MINE!'

But with Black Friday, Christmas, Boxing Day & January sales there's so many potential moments it could go further down in price.

However Amazon have extended their returns till end of January for items placed on November & December from Amazon UK.

Say I were to play on this console to my hearts content and a better deal popped up, I'd still be able to return this warehouse deal, get my money back and buy the new deal, right?

Sorry for the long post, Thanks for the help and anyone else who replies.

I've had my eye on a monitor from warehouse, £550 last time I checked, now £725.

There also getting shifty with returns, I had a threat of account closure because I returned a couple of genuinely faulty items. They have lost a lot of my custom recently.

I always thought that the items sold through Amazon warehouse were customer returns - items that had been opened, briefly used & returned within 30 days. However both the items I've bought from Amazon warehouse (a PC & PS4) had been totally trashed. I'm not sure where they had been sourced from but they were second hand & looked like they had been used (& abused) for months.

After a laptop, anyone have any suggestions? Not after a proper gaming one, just quick enough to play football manager and browsing without waiting an age! Looking at about £250-£300
