Good spot op.

Never done this before, but did read this on their website:
'You can trade in a maximum quantity of two identical items within any 3-month period', so might pay to double check this before sending all 3 copies off.

Sorry, ignore what I said, just realised that you are keeping one of the copies for your brother - still feel tired, think I need another coffee!

All three copies of what?

You can only physically add two to the basket; if you create a new trade in order it still blocks you from sending in any others; you'd have to use a new account. Using a new account would be a waste though as the credit gets applied to that amazon account and isn't transferable.

Edit: Looks like you beat me to it.

Just a tip for anyone that wants to take advantage of this -
Currys are selling Rambo (X360) for £9.97 and Thief (X360) for £9.97, you get £13.35 for Rambo and £12.50 trade in for Thief on Amazon.

So buying 2 Rambos for £19.94 would get you £26.70 + £5 from amazon in credit for trading in two games and 19p in Quidco; so £11.95 for free (If you're buying stuff from amazon anyway.....)

This look likes a good way of building up some 'credit' on Amazon. I'm trying to build up some Amazon gift cards (through recent Bespoke purchases and also points for Shop and Scan that I participate in - trade in 10,000 points for a £10 Amazon voucher), so that I can get my son his own classical guitar for school lessons (borrowing one at the moment). Thank you.

No problem, you're not doubling your money like you are with the bespoke offer; but this way is a lot easier and less hassle.

Sounds like a good deal, but small problem. The two PS4 games I am looking to trade in are both £5 less than they were when I checked a week before christmas and even with the voucher CEX is offering more in credit, so it is definitely worth finding out how much the trade in price has dropped and comparing.
#15
Cheers OP, gave me the incentive to get the finger out and flog a few games I dont play any more.
#16
If you are buying Destiny Limited Edition for £39.99 from the other HUKD thread on here, you can trade in a like new standard edition for just over £15 (CEX give £13) and get the extra fiver so only pay just under £20 to upgrade. You may be able to sell the standard edition for over £20 on eBay but after fees and shipping it is hit and miss if you will get more.

Hmm, Forza 5 currently going for £17.20, might trade mine in, be worth it for the extra £5 and then pick up the digital copy at some point for less. Its been months since I've been near Forza 5 anyway..

ALien Isolation for £16.78 + £5 gift card. Seems like a good deal if anyone else is looking to off-load.
#23
I opted to trade in my Xbox 360 copies of Tomb Raider Game Of The Year Edition and Transformers: Fall of Cybertron

They give £4.90 and a whopping £18.90 respectively.

I best finish them off in the coming days before I get rid! :) I essentially make up the money back I spent on both games in trade value at the end of the day so I'm happy (and that's before the £5 credit).

Thanks OP!

Just be very careful when trading in to Amazon that you get proof of postage, as their Noram Partners have a reputation for parcels of games going missing in the mail (check their forum for comments on this if you want other views). Amazon have in the end reimbursed but having had a number of games go missing when trading in with them it pays to go through the Post Office counter (no point paying for postage when they will pay for it though - Post Office will give proof of postage for free :)).

I really enjoyed the first time Amazon gave an extra £5 credit when you traded games. Good times.

Step 1. Buy '3 for 2' Assassins Creed Unity from Tesco's for a grand total of £44

http://www.tesco.com/direct/assassins-creed-unity-xbox-one/320-1338.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=320-1338

Step 2. Amazon will let you trade in the above mentioned game for £17.05 each. At the min they have a deal where if you trade in £15 or more of games, you'll get an extra £5 voucher as the OP put.

Trade in 2 copies of AC: Unity for £34.10 + £5 = £39.10

£44 - £39.10 = £4.90 (for your copy of AC: Unity) and you now have £39.10 to spend at Amazon (_;)

or

2 x Assassins Creed Unity (PS4)
1 x Assassins Creed Unity (xBox1)

£44 from Tesco

Get back £59.25 from Amazon

Or keep the ps4 one and send 2 of them for a refund of £39.65

Does it state anywhere that this extra £5 is one per customer, or if I have several games to trade would I be better to send several packages each totalling £15+ or just to send them all in one?

Silly question, but is the trade in credit given back to you in amazon credits or transferred into your bank?

Sweet, opted for the Xbox One Controller deal to get £10 off AC: Unity, but only wanted the controller

1. Buy controller £32.86
2. Buy AC: U for £12 (£22-£10)
3. Trade in AC:U using this offer (£17+£5 = £22)

Xbox One pad for £22.86 :)
