Did this one last year when it was free and got the 30 day trial too. Even at £10 it is a sweet offer though. Eye test, prescription and free one month of contacts for £10!

Thanks but there isn't a button on that particular offer that says go to deal - its there for all the other offers but not that one - hence my confusion :)

Thanks for the welcome from everyone though :)

WoW this is great thanks a lot !

One question : Ive booked an "eye test" which she said will not cover a contact lense prescription so I will need to go in for a contact lense "Assessment" which is normally £30 but free if you take up CLBP (Contact lenses by post) scheme.

My question is that is this the right way to go about it ? I do an eye test then an Assesment with CLBP or do I need to ask for something else ?

Thanks

For anyone who's got 'complex lenses' i.e. short sighted over -10 and long sighted similar, or those with astigmatism:

You shouldn't have to pay for an eye test. Also, you get a voucher for £12 towards the cost of lenses (which is better than nothing when my glasses are £500+).

I used today the voucher from freebies section... worked - free.... but I may have a problem... I shouldn't drive a car without glasses... I can see perfectly for small distances but not clearly far.... http://www.cheatsws.com/hukd/2.gif ... I think it's called short sighted... and that's because of the computers... 9 hours / day working in front of a monitor and another 4 hours at home http://www.cheatsws.com/hukd/23.gifhttp://www.cheatsws.com/hukd/46.gif
#29
It is short sightedness steffcip and watching a monitor for such long periods more than likely is the reason.

One thing to remember, is to set your monitor's refresh rate to its maximum setting [you probably know that already :)]. The higher the refresh rate, the less flicker you'll have from your display. That's especially true for CRTs as TFTs aren't so bad [I find].
#30
I used laptops for the last 3 years... if you change the refresh rate to laptop TFTs it doesn't do anything better... but before that I used only CRTs for about 5 years... so yes this is the problem so I need to wear glasses and contact lenses :(http://www.cheatsws.com/hukd/46.gif
