Thought I would post this because as far as I can see, the closest price to this is £32.99 from GamePlay and everywhere else seems to be closer to 35-40 pounds! Also comes with the resistance band and is compatible with Playstation Move! Not sure why it is so cheap in comparison to everywhere else but fingers crossed its a genuine price.

Seems to be getting good reviews:

Lol, I think people are voting cold for the wrong reasons. This is the best price for this item. Whether or not you want to buy it is down to individual preference. If anyone can find a better price, feel free to post. :)

It ain't necessarily all about finding it for cheaper mate,

People look for deals, not something that was overpriced to start with to be just slightly less overpriced than before.

This just ain't a deal

The value of something is relative - just because you decide this is overpriced doesn't mean it's not a deal. Surely the purpose of this site is simple - find items at a cheaper price - thus making it a deal

Ill decide what's a deal and what isn't when I vote! And this is cold as just not worth the price for the crap that it is

I disagree to a certain point, if u were going to buy it anyway and save a few quid, ok it can be judged a deal by some people, most of these people are quickly recaptured though, but even still doesn't make it a HOT deal, which was the point.

Furthermore, the value of something is what someone is prepared to pay for it, which for the most, is nothing.

Most people will see this as an overpriced pile of crap, the rrp of this game is utterly comical.

2 weeks from now and this will be 10.99 or less. I will also add, the value retention of this, compared with lets say, GT5 needs to be taken into account, this game will be a quid in 6 months.

So, you expect ME to vote this HOT because someone else is stupid enough to pay the actual rrp or even 30 quid for this to start with?
Personally, i feel if i vote cold, i am preventing some poor mug from being conned out of their money.

Sorry, tried to remove this but not had any luck. Took the hint and can see people don't think this was a hot deal. Thought that the idea of this site was to add best prices for items, and that it wasn't a popularity contest on pre guessing what everyone wants to buy for christmas. If you are someone that would like to buy this item, this is by far the best deal at present.

However, it seems that I have to post something that every single person would go out and buy to get voted hot... Like a can of beans maybe.. :P

Whether or not anyone thought this overpriced, it was the best by far for the item. And how much it will be in 6 months time is irrelative for those wanting to purchase in time for christmas.

Believe it or not, the reviews for this are good but I suppose we will wait and see what my other half thinks!

Lesson learnt and will not make the same mistake again!

Thanks OP, Hot deal. Will let my mother know as she's into fitness games and was looking forward to this one.

Having a paddy because this is cold? i don't understand why people take this personally lol

Unless you are going to gain financially out of this deal being hot, why get defensive?

And yes, the idea of the site is to add the best price for items, although this is technically a deal, it will never be HOT, but so what? what do you care?

Thanks for posting this, sadly it was cold, but has your street cred dropped because this is cold or something? i'm confused..

Wasn't throwing a paddy so sorry if it looked that way! I was simply stating that I am new t posting "deals" and thought that the point of this site was to find the best price for something thus making it a "deal".

As you can see from above comments, a few have voted cold just because they don't like the idea of the game, not because they have even played it. That is my only "issue" but I won't be losing sleep over it.

Besides, It's getting warmer! I was 150 cold.. Now 148! Woohoo!

Don't forget the complementary deal...

Kleenex mens tissues half price for £1.09 instore in Sainsburys

For what it is worth, I saw this title being promoted for the Xbox 360 & for the Wii console last week in a shopping centre & it enticed one of my kids to play for a while (on the Wii version).

It didn't look too bad, but I only saw two exercises. You are going to find those that either tolerate Mel B, or those that don't, of course.

It this video game title encourages some people who would normally not engage in any physical activity beyond moving their thumbs on a joypad controller, whilst also promoting a fun experience, then it is a worthwhile title. In that respect it is no different to the numerous pre-recorded (minor) celebrity exercise videos that clutter the release schedules leading-up to Christmas every year.

That said, this deal may be being voted cold because of the expense of buying the Sony Motion Controller devices versus the Wii variant (where an owner would already have the controller[s] required) & the Microsoft version (that, yes, also has the expense of the Kinetic for Xbox 360 peripheral).

Or, perhaps, because the retailer is CoolShop, or the fact that CoolShop's product page shows the North American version of the product, not the European version.

http://www.coolshop.co.uk/catalog/product_thumb.php?img=images/boxshots/65315-forside.jpg&w=200

versus

http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51iiEcG67EL._SL500_AA300_.jpg

Not that this will matter (to a PS3 owner), but any number of factors to do with a deal can influence voting.

If you had listed this deal next week it may not have been voted cold at all.

Don't give up finding/listing deals, phoenix2k.

Without the efforts of members who are willing to spend their time sourcing & typing-up deals this site would not be a useful as it is.

I disagree with most of what you are saying. The rrp on this particular game is not comical , it's just fairly irrelevant. Im sure some of us less well informed on HUKD's have come to realise that most rrp's are over inflated on some products and take them with a pinch of salt, so it is not a unique gift that you have spotting that this rrp may have been high compared to the curent selling price of this game and others of this type. What is relevant is how much you can buy this game for elsewhere.. And when the op posted this deal it was probably the cheapest that you, I or anybody else could find. The fact that it's Mel B or that it is a particular type of game not to your liking is irrelevant , she may not be to everyones taste but there will be those who like her and this type of game also.

It sounds like by your comments that you voted it cold mainly on the fact that this game does not appeal to you in the slightest. If this happens to be the case, then why did you not just move on to another deal, and leave others to make a informed decision for themselves based mainly on price , the retailer and a few other factors. Very little of what you said in your comments about this game have been informative and based on any fact and I suspect no personal experience of this game whatsoever , and consequently would be of little help to others viewing this deal.

Trying to justify your opinions that this deal was cold by talking about re-sell values and making a comparison with this game to GT5 is complete nonsense. They are two completely different type of game that on the whole would generally appeal to different groups of people and are marketed in such a manner to the consumer. It has already been stated regarding the fairly positive reviews this has recieved so why in your opinion would you think that this is any worse than any of the other new fitness games on offer at the moment that are compatible with motion controllers or sensors and in this price range. As I have already stated I doubt that any of your previous comments can be attributed to you having any personal experience of this game, so how does that qualify you to make such comments. I would imagine that most people looking to purchase this type of game are not thinking of it's re-sale value when thinking about purchasing it and that they are looking for the cheapest price from an ok retailer.
The fact is , is that this is a FITNESS game, Im sure anybody looking to get fit and perhaps have a bit fun with it will already be aware that it takes time to do this and will not be expecting to have achieved this after only a few weeks of playing it so that they can re-sell it. I would imagine a lot of people who like this game after purchasing it , and after playing it to try and help themselves get fit or to help maintain a current fitness level would still have it in 5 or 6 months time to keep that same level of fitness up.
You could make price comparisons of most goods that are manufactured for sale to the general public and find that the majority of prices would depreciate in value over time as newer items become available and technology moves forward that there rrp starts to become hard to accept as a consumer. If your going to make a comparison, why not do it like for like instead of slating the ops deal.

Everyone is entitled to there opinion, but personally I am finding that there are an increasing number of people who use this site who have no interest in positively contributing to it, by helping others make an informed choice on whether something is a hot deal. In what way do you think your comments , for example , would have helped a mother viewing this thread who is looking to buy a fitness game for her daughter for Xmas but is perhaps unsure on which one to buy where price is a big factor.

As you commented , I do'nt think the op expected you to vote hot for his deal, but I do'nt think he would have expected you to vote cold based on your opinion , personal preferance , a lack of knowledge and experience about the product and pointing out the obvious rrp difference.

Time and time again I see good deals quickly dying on this site and disappearing because of one or two mis-informed individuals who think it is there duty to kill a deal as its not to there liking. Examples include hijacking a thread , having a go at the the op/product , warning others away from the product and at the same time posting very little or no facts and relevant deal information to back up there comments about the item or the retailer etc, but they are so quick to dismiss a deal when at the same time attempting to influence others to do the same by posting irrelevant comments.

I also suspect that the op's reasons for posting this deal was not as you suggested to gain any street cred or for financial gain as you also suggested. I would think that the vast majority of people using this site actually get a degree of satisfaction in trying to help others.

Perhaps a suggestion to the mods that all deals should be run by you 1st before there posted would be a good idea, then you can filter out all those that you dislike or do not appeal to you.
It would maybes be more constructive of you and helpful to others visiting this site , if instead of a attemting very poorly to mock the deal and the op , that you actually researched the product , price and retailer before posting any comments. That is just my opinion , of coarse.

Rant Over.

Hi, Thanks very much for the comment. I really do appreciate you taking the time to put your opinion across (especially as it mirrors my own.)

I can confirm I received this and all looks ok having only been debited £25.00 from my account. However, "deal" has now expired. Just glad I got it while I could and from the reviews I think it is going to be an alright fitness program, even if it does star Mel B! Lol.
