Get L.A Noire free when you pre-purchase Max Payne 3 @ Steam £29.99
Hi all, I pre-purchased max payne 3 on steam a couple of days ago and there was no mention of this L.A noire offer, but it popped up today on my steam library. You need to pre-purchase BEFORE Monday, May 28 at 9pm Pacific Time to be eligible for the offer. The game pops up in your library as soon as you complete the pre-purchase.
Posting this because I thought people should know before it's too late!

Thanks for the insightful comment! I am, however, unlikely to value the opinion of somebody who plays "Fruit Ninja".
I guess that anything beyond slicing fruit is too taxing for you?

LA Noire is far from taxing.

That's your opinion. What's the point in posting it here? Some people will enjoy it, some won't. The game has received largely positive reviews, and seeing as this is free if you are buying Max Payne 3 then people may as well try it.

What is wrong with the Fruit Ninja??? :p
Nope. That offer has finished.
LA Noire is a really good game IMHO, completed it on both PS3 and PC. Quite a long story, nice setting (I love the 1940s setting) and a brilliant soundtrack. Lots of little details such as NPC conversations and lots of dialouge while your travel.
Being a detective is a nice change of gameplay for a modern game but it's very linear in terms of that you can't change the story, you can get the case wrong and come up with a bad ending to it but in the bigger picture it doesn't change.
I'd definitely reccomend
la noire was awesome

the problem is like with many rockstar games, the game is very poorly optimised. it shouldnt have to take for me to go online on gaming forums trying to find solutions to low frame rate. and before you say anything my specs where above minmimum requirements.

That's true actually, I had to reinstall once because the game's voice acting stopped after the first cutscene and then find some online fixes

actually you'll find that while what you say WAS true when steam started selling la noir, they now sell the STANDARD version without the DLC as well.

Just ignore him/her - this is the same person who referred to EA as a 'cancer'.....

Enjoy your online passes, online servers shut down after only a couple of years, Origin scanning your system and mountains of DLC that should have been included in the main game.
