  You doth protest too much cb-uk. Really ought to read The Old Testament and make yourself fully conversant with the Talmud (Mishnah and the Gemara). Fact is, 100% of Homo sapiens wouldn't even be walking the planet today if our ancestors hadn't been at it below what we now deem an "age of consent".

  cb-uk. My remark was prompted by clicking on a link and being met with a whacking great picture of Paul Gadd aka Glitter. I was curious to learn what "Get The Look, Black Crunch Glitter Shoes" actually were, and was rather taken aback by such an in-your-face picture which had nothing whatsoever to do with shoes. Prior to this, the last comment I'd read of yours was in the thread concerning a deal posted for "A Serbian Film" where you had fingered paedophillia (in a few of your posts) as criticism enough to condemn the film. As I hadn't seen the film I decided to read up on it and discovered the director had apparently used sexuality as a foil (I shall decide this for myself once I've actually watched it). I'm not fully conversant with the nuances of Gadd's sexuality. I am aware, however, he has come to be vilified for stepping outside the boundaries of current cultural norms. This, together with the earlier comments you'd made, seemed to reverberate with certain sensibilities, thus provoking my observations.
  
  HukD is certainly not the place to discuss the complex and potentially emotive subject of human sexuality.

  You can ask me to delete my comments, which I will gladly do if cb-uk removes the equally irrelevant "off-topic" (to shoes) picture of Gary Glitter, but it is not right to call for selective censorship in a public forum.
  
  Other than that a moderator will have to decide if a picture of Gary Glitter is on-topic. He's a man, the shoes appear to be marketed to women. I don't see the connection. Having said that I do now know what "Get The Look, Black Crunch Glitter Shoes" are, and they aren't for me.

  There's nothing "bad" about it. Merely irrelevant. Gary Glitter hadn't entered my consciousness until I clicked on the link to find out what this deal comprised. If someone had posted a glitter dress or glitter dust would that have warranted a whopping great picture of Gary Glitter? The point I was making to cb-uk about cb-uk's post was that I had only ever encountered another comment from him/her on a deal thread where she/he kept referring to paedophillia in a film which supposedly uses sexuality to inform its audience of a political message. I don't think the film is intended to arouse people's sexual curiosity. Anyway, this in now way off topic and if Wadjet doesn't ask me to do so, I shall remove the comments myself.
