No idea how you would go about recording from this and I presume it is only good for indoor lit areas at night without an IR lamp. Also I suspect what it means by the scart thing is it turns on which makes your TV switch to the scart input. I would find this kind of annoying.

Black and white cameras are usually more sensitive at night than colour and would then give a better picture in low light levels, what outputs are on the reciever ?

Just scart I think. This picture seems to be of the black and white system.

I got one of these from eBay for £20 and they are pants, the camera only activates and transmits when there is movement, so no good for a monitoring camera, the picture isnt too bad in daylight and range quite good'

BUT: The sensor is very hit and miss whether it will detect anything and activate, I thought maybe I had received a dodgy one so I looked online and a lot of reviews had the same thing. (turning wifi off didnt make a difference either and the units could be only a matter of inches apart and it was still the same)

If anyone can figure a way to bypass the PIR so it remains always on then it would be great.

Always wanted a cheap little camera to monitor our front door, but as per previous comment I could do with on that isn't operated by a PIR.

I use a PS2 eyetoy connected to the PC for this and a MD80 clone for the entire front.

I have the black and white set myself and think they are good value, the connector box allows up to 4 cameras but i cant seem to find them sold losely with the connection i need! at night the quality is extremely poor, i have mine connected to a DVD recorder and that is what i use, it seems cheaper to go and buy another set of the black and white cameras so i have the four.

A waste of £29.99

If you want CCTV to protect your possessions and property, this deal is NOT what you want.

the black and white wired CCTV cameras are quite good when combined with a pir light or any type of outside lights. I`ve got these ones connected to a hd recorder. had a bus take my wing mirror off outside my home and when i called them they denied it until i told them i had it on camera lol. i paid £55 from tesco and bought two when they had them for half price and have 4 cameras up connected to the one unit.....they also have a blue neon light on the front of the cameras so that they can be seen by any scum bags passing? heat added :)

Some burglers now carry signal blockers that block IP cams, mobiles and GPS which you can get from the internet from £30 to £150
