dont forget to cancel once you have recieved as you will end up having to pay £3.75 everytime they send out a new catalogue -

i thought charging for a catalogue was a bit of a joke as they actually make money from this (they pay £1.50 for each catalogue delivered to courier services)

I've just ordered the catalogue but wasn't charged anything for it so unlikely to get the £10 from Quidco

It says in the small print that you will be charged at a later date. Probably once they dispatch it.

Why's this getting voted cold? It's essentially free money!
#5
either that or you will get charged onto a next account. You have technically just set up a store account with them although you arent allowed a store card until 3 months in or something along those lines

Because you're signing up to a credit agreement with Next.

I have been trying to cancel my next directory (and never got any quidco at the time i first got it) for years, as I shop on line, but they still keep turning up!! Good Luck!!

wanted my own one anyway (was always ordering from my mum'sP, so might as well get the Quidco cashback.

Great, nice to see that this is a hot deal for some people. Now how about some rep please :)

Voted Cold!

Remember as per :

http://www.quidco.com/help/63/

Quidco cashback is only a possibility, not a guarantee. We pass all of the money we receive for your account on to you (less the yearly admin fee). It is not our obligation to pay any outstanding amounts that, for whatever reason, we do not receive from the merchant.

well I dont want to start a revolt but my quidco payment of over £100 it's been showing scheduled since over 6 months!!! So I dont have much faith in Quidco and cant see the benefits in using it if even when they agree to pay out they dont give you any indication of when. Is all good saying £10 if you sing up here and 10% here and there if they actually dont fulfill it!:x
#17
Exactly BikeBarbie and that's my experience.

You should treat Quidco as a possibility and not a given.

To class it as a guaranteed profit is wrong and very misleading.

In the last two months I've had over £200 from quidco! All for things like insurance and breakdown cover that I would have bought anyway.

lucky you then just to prove how inconsistent they are, why pay £200 in two months one user and nothing for over 6 months to another

Well I have a few quid in the quidco account awaiting payment. I'm sure it will pay out in due course 'cos loads of punters on various sites use it. My biggest item is from dell so that one should be good. It does say on quidco's site that it can take months to be paid. I think you need to be in no hurry.

Does rep mean heat? What does rep mean? reputation?

I'd give it heat if I was sure that there will be a tenner in my account at quidco. Do you guarantee it?

To give rep, you click the little image of the scales to the left of the image/name of the person you want to give it to. The more rep a person gets, the more little red/orange dots they get. The more dot or "pips" they get, the more trusted they are and damn am i trustworthy. I......need......dots!

mmm noticed this has disappeared off the side bar and the search box on Quidco even tho it only appeared this afternoon........

I have visions of us all ending up with a next directory at a £3.75 cost and no £10 quidco cashback...........

Anyone know whats going on with it??

I order one yesterday and received my confirmation email from NEXT. However, after becoming concerned about effectively applying for credit I called customer services on the number specified in the email, and they told me that they had no details of my application........................................... not sure what to make of this!

OK I've got it. Was I right - Is it reputation? Why should we be so concerned about our rep?

Man I think we have been skazoomed on this one... I signed up, now no sign of this offer on quidco, no tracking (yet), and the prospect of paying for this brochure that I dont even want!

Money saving is a risky business!! Any tips for getting out of this one without having to lay any money out?

Quidco (Carol) has said over on MSE that Next had tracking issues and that they (quidco) had been asked to suspend the offer whilst they sort it out.

I asked where that leaves those of us who ordered during the problems. I didn't get a useful reply though.
