It was posted after this one, hence why it was spammed as a dupe.
A friend and i bought the digi-eu versions from the PS Store (with the PS+ discount) and while it doesn't have the 'game data utility' save problem, we still cannot connect to each other in co-op/guerilla mode. So something else must be wrong.
I suspect that either; a) Ubisoft don't know how to fix the issue, or b) they don't care..... Either way, their support Q&A about messing about with your router's network ports screams of poor QA testing.

Not had any issues with playing/joining/inviting friends on the ps3 version. Even friends that would not connect on fifa due to router issues. And my saves are perfectly fine.

really? you on the disc or digi version?
I'll try it again this weekend, but from all the posts/forums from the google search i mentioend, it's not a rare issue.... I'm really hoping now it was just that the servers were having problems last weekend. It can't be my connection as i tested MW3 aftewards and that was fine.
