For roughly the same price you can buy 48 normal size Snickers (48g).

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Snickers-Bar-48-Pack/dp/B003TCSBPM

That's 2,304g. in total - an extra 1,851g. for 14p more.

Does it come with a free shot of insulin to wake you from the ensuing diabetic coma?

'bloody huge!', you say?

Is that bigger than 'chuffin massive'?

Cheaper then normal so hot but I would go for the 48 bars. Although this would make a better present for someone.

It could well be! ;)

Yeah OFC its cheaper to buy seperate bars but you wouldn't give someone 48 bars for a present, you would give them one of these beasts!... well I would anyways lol

Yeah. Giving 48 normal size bars would either say "you're a fat git" or "I work for Mars and got these cheap".

Whereas giving one massive bar would just say "you like to eat, don't you?"..... :)

It's more expensive than 1lb of steak.

Really good fun novelty item, I like this.

And I've always liked Marathons, they will always be Marathons.

Or 4 full size snickers are always £1 in Pound shops, 48 for £12.

Very tempted to get one but need to find a place to hide it from my misses.

Wow that is one expensive "comedy" social media shot to plaster everywhere.
Is this what human life boils down to nowadays? oO:(

Cannot vote as it interferes with HUKD cheapest / cheaper elsewhere scenario.

How can poor value ever be a good deal? You should pay less for larger quantities not more.

Marathon vs Snickers reminds me of one of the best Partridge episodes ever made.
#25
That is a very BIG, BLACK..Snickers! :)

Can't believe that HUKDers have voted this hot! £13.67 for a big bar of Snickers? Not a chance I would EVER pay that. I would much rather have standard bars anyway - even in a gift - because they are easier to eat and, presuming that you wouldn't eat the huge bar in one go, will stay fresher. Somehow, going back to a partially eaten huge bar is rather offputting, give me a fresh one please!

Well thats your opinion and your entitled to it. I bet you voted cold for the 1kg easter egg from thorntons. Heat from me op

Just put these into camelx3 with a price target of 25p. Hopefully I'll be able to get 4 of these for £1.

A tub of Celebrations when on here 750g = £3/4
Snickers 453g = £13.67

I like the massive bar but this is not a hot deal. Cold.

When equational logic starts entering into peoples minds the whole fun novelty has dissipated, it's exactly the same as easter eggs being more expensive than buying regular chocolate bars.

This as a gift to someone that loves Snickers has far more of a novelty "impact" than buying them 48 regular Snickers at over a 1/3rd saving over RRP.

This is looking good value against the next best comedy gift alternative, which we all know is one of these adult pigeon masks at £14.99: http://www.findmeagift.co.uk/gifts/pigeon-mask.html

It is the kind of thing you would buy for someone who you know is going to have one heck of a smile on their face when they see it not sit their doing the maths on how many smaller bars they could have gotten :)

Also sometimes it's hard to know what to get someone and something like this might just tick the box, i was completely stumped with what to get my father in law this year so in the end we decided on Amazon vouchers - ok not exciting but practical he can then pick - but in ordering them I found out 2 things I didn't know firstly they now have a ten year lifespan! Ten Years! And secondly you can get en email animated card - well I wish I could have seen his face when a bunch of dogs were barking/singing happy birthday before a bunch of balloons dropped down etc! We spoke to him in the phone and he seemed to appreciate the gesture and at least we know he will have something he wants.

Now back on topic - erm sorry back on snickers - what Snicker/Marathon loving person would not be happy with this big bar? as for freshness, I'm one step ahead, either you share it (albeit begrudgingly) or when you get it you open it and pre slice it and freeze it in sections ready to defrost as and when you fancy some - sorted :)

Shame its a Snickers, not that keen on them, but good deal never the less.

Back in the days of Woolworths I once bought a giant 4.5Kg (yes Kg!!!) Toblorone which was reduced to somethink like £20 after Christmas. That was just excellent and it genuinely was a scaled up bar not just a box with lots of little bars.

Can still get them on the internet but way too expensive.

Either way you're still basically saying "Stuff this down your cakehole fatty".

I think I'd prefer the 48 bars though.
