My daughters get 600/UL/1gb for £7 with Virgin, never understood the fascination with gif gaf?.
#2
You can get much better deals such as this sim only contract with Virgin which only costs 50p more per month.

It is 500Mb of data per month for £7.50 not 250Mb

I've got 02 sim for 12 months unlimited minutes unlimited texts and 2GB data £10 a month I'm happy with that
#12
This can only be compared to 1 month rolling contract or payg, 12 month contract will obviously be cheaper. But same as most Giffgaff is more gif gag this days
#13
They are still the cheapest I could find to text people abroad though (when you can't use Whatsapp and alike )

on giffgaff 4g less than 2MB download speed, on EE 3G with the likes of Life 12MB says it all really, but will add the likes of Life are also much cheaper as well :(

Got EE, 4G, 12 month sim only, unlimited minutes and texts including European. 4Gb data upped to 9Gb for free because I have home broadband with EE. Costs £8.99 p/m, very happy, thanks to this site, don't understand how that deal went freezing cold to be honest.

The only problem with that is that ID=CPW and I'd rather use a cheese grater on my testicles for an hour than give those ***** any of my money.

Can people stop comparing real PAYG deals with 30 day rolling contracts and 12 month sim only deals. Sick of people posting a payg deal only for someone to give it " oh I get double the data on my 30 day rolling contract". Well you see that's the issue! PAYG Is contract free credit check free, no direct debit. It's very unfair to compare PAYG deals to the other!

The thing is though, some people like lots of choices and so the more info that they can get on any cheap deals may help them. As you point out, it won't help the unfortunate ones that cannot get credit but it may help a lot of others. I would think that even people that can't get credit are able to ignore comments that don't fit their circumstances.

From Three. Was on unlimited minutes, text and 8gb data for £16 on a rolling contract but thought I would try to get something cheaper so called Three and was offered 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 8gb data for £11. Had to save a couple of pounds after the Mrs upgraded to Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for £37 a month on a 24 months contract.

Talk mobile is 500 mins, 5000 txts and 2 gb data on 30 day rolling

Technically giffgaff goodybags are not contracts (rolling or otherwise). They are PAYG allowances that can be used within one month; when your allowances are exhausted you revert back to regular PAYG charges.

giffgaff is fine for calls and text, but not data.. it should be compared to other pay and go suppliers for this reason alone, forgetting about sim on deals/30 day jobbys!
