It's a tree, have some patience!!!!!!

meh. really difficult things to grow... usually very high maintenance in these kits too, i think mine had to be refridgerated, and never left to go dry for about 6 months before it came out... needless to say, it didnt grow. you can buy nice fully grown ones in the garden centre for £8 or less

tempted but the reviews on amazon are pretty weak

Agreed, cant be expecting much from it it seems:

"Due to the varying nature of the conditions that the plant seeds are stored and grown in, neither Gift Republic Ltd nor any other company supplying this gift pack can accept any liability in relation to the non performance of the seeds or coir discs and pots. This is a novelty gift and must be regarded as such."

They have a very roundabout way of saying "Hell, even we wouldn't buy this product !" Don't they? :-D

Novelty product? It's not like it's a money tree which is meant as a joke... people are actually going to buy these expecting them to work.

I may as well sell my semen on eBay with the tagline "May or may not become a Nobel Prize winner".

As others have said - a complete waste of money

Pay a couple of quid more and get a ready grown one.

The last Mod* I gave a cold vote to gave me a warning for it ... so I'll not vote on this one.

*It wasn't Millarcat

Go to woods.
Pick up a couple of saplings.
Plant in pots.
Look for how to grow bonsai on google.
Follow instructions to the letter.
Lose interest as they take so bleedin' long to grow
Throw away dead plants that haven't been looked after properly after intial excitement wained.

Free.
Simple.
Do it.
