Not a deal for everyone but if you are in the market for a 1080ti, this is one of the very fastest in the market (pretty much only beaten by the Zotac Amp Extreme). Same card is £698 at Overclockers and £719 at Scan.

Most Founders Editions seem to start at around £640 so for a relatively small premium you get a good boost in base clocks and a 4 year warranty (requires registration).

On backorder and due to ship tomorrow (19/05) at the time of posting, hopefully this will help someone get some nice 4k gaming.

Good comparison chart available here so you can check how this compares to many others in the market:

Good price. Ignore the cold voters, they're just salty about the price point of the Ti in general. If anyone finds a better price, please enlighten us.

Was £669.99 about a week ago, starting to look like this might be the new standard price point for these cards. Tempting, but want to wait and see if Vega pushes them lower still in a month or so

If you mean this deal:

http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/gigabyte-aorus-nvidia-geforce-gtx-1080-ti-669-99-amazon-2688140

That was for the standard Aorus - this is the Xtreme Edition which is faster :) That version is currently the same price as this (at Amazon), so this is clearly the better deal.

Ah right, I stand corrected. Even more tempting to upgrade my 980Ti then :)

That's exactly the upgrade I'm making too. Took the plunge as will now hopefully get the most of my 4k Gync monitor!

I think this is a great deal. Amazon returns are second to none, so if coil whine is an issue that's sorted. Some people didn't like the X design. Nice to see the Ti settling at the mid £600 price point, and the 1080 standard at the early £400 price point. Top top cards.

Good price. Paid £760 like a month or so ago for my MSI Gaming X :(

Unfortunately the top end GPU's will never got hot here unless its a misprice of something. Always going to get voted cold by the "you can buy 2 PS4's AND games for this" crowd, or the ones who are eternally "waiting for x to be announced" and expect that to make the high end GPU's drop by 50% (hint: never happens).

Heated.

hdr,10bit,12bit This card does not do that apart for [email protected] which I consider useless.

It's a good price but do I really want to spend £680 on a graphics card? :|

I paid £760 for a Gaming X that won't hold a stable overclock above 1987Mhz. Count your blessings! :)

Decided to take the plunge. I've got a 144hz 1440p IPS Gsync panel which should pair well with it. I must be mad :D

You honestly shouldn't be concerned about this. The more rigorous testers/reviewers have come to the conclusion that between the factory overclock these cards have and GPU Boost, there really is no more headroom with these 1080 Ti's. The cooling is so good that they're hitting their physical limits way before they get too hot. Where Ti's have been pushed past 2GHz, it's been noted that while average FPS may increase slightly, frametimes actually take a hit, no doubt because of the errors/correction/latency introduced when pushing them too far.

Indeed - all 1080ti do seems to broadly similar. Differences are primarily in fan noise and warranty. As far I can tell on the Aorus and Amp Extreme offer warranty over 3 years (4 and 5 years respectively).

this gpu can do 10bit and 12bit at 4:2:2 as it uses hdmi 2.0 . to run hdr at 10 or 12 bit with full 4:4:4 you will need hdmi 2.1 which hasnt been officially released
