Think the extra £14 for the super overclock version or the MSI Hawk edition are worth the extra.

depends if you plan on overclocking it urself or not.
if overclocking urself, i'd save £15 if not then yes theyr probably worth it.
i thought the MSI hawk looked good, but it's meant to be a fail :/! the standard cyclone can reach the same OC as it.
if i were buying a card, i'd go for this one TBH.

No it isn't, this version runs very cool and quiet and will easily hit 850 mhz, takes a couple of seconds using MSI Afterburner, there's no point in spending extra for something you can do yourself with a couple of clicks.

Yes but the versions I have mentioned have even better coolers so will overclock even higher. Considering its only 10% more and it will give you more than that back in an overclock.

If you want maximum performance for a cheap price then buy the cheapest one you can fine (XFX or Palit most likely) and mod a xbox 360 V2 cpu heatsink to it and a 80mm case fan all for less than this.

Voted hot for 1gb gtx460 however i think the msi 5850 with AC2 game beter value/performance card imo.

Dabs have the Asus HD 6850 for £140 delivered plus Quidco available.
According to SilentPCReview it’s unusually quiet for a card in this class and Techpowerup managed to overclock it by 20/17 percent for Core/Memory which put it close to a HD 6870.
It seems an excellent combination of low noise, power efficiency, decent over-clocking and performance for the price.

Yeah, can't go wrong with either a 6850 or 460, they're virtually neck and neck both at stock and overclocked, the 460 GTX performs better in some games, and vice versa, either one is a good buy at around £140, so it basically comes down to brand preferance.
