good luck! The only way of getting a 1080 at that price range is a very lucky deal or buying from amazon.fr or amazon.de e.g. this Palit GameRock 1080 is about £540 if you pay in euros https://www.amazon.de/Palit-GeForce-NEB1080T15P2G-GameRock-Grafikkarte/dp/B01GGBQ1ZE/

This one is in your price range and is by a good company, if you're not overclocking the gpu , this card is great.Don't know why this deal has gone cold ,doesnt seem like the usual price for a 1080...

Good deal but this will go cold due to fickle HUKD users.

- It has been on sale for £499, so even though its not now and this is a great price, people will vote cold.

- people will see Ebuyer and vote cold.

-people will see the price and vote cold knowing nothing about graphics cards.

I have exactly same spec and I changed my overclocked Zotac extreme gtx 1070 for a gigabyte gtx 1080 windforce and on 3440x1440 I was expecting better performance ... GTX 1080 is not a 4k card .... My ultrawide resolution is less then 4k and this card still can't handle it very well my monitor is overclocked to 85hz and to get this fps you have to drop some in game settings.... if I was you I would hold on to coming gtx 1080ti ( or 2080ti) it is dependent how they will call this refresh of pascal coming in first months of 2017...but if you have money and you want 1080 why not to buy from eBay?? You can get descent deals there if you look a bit ...thus deal is quite good too you getting headphones worth 50 £ so it is like you getting this card for 500 £

4k at max settings and 85Hz, I'd have one of those if it existed!

More likely people don't want a blower. First review there says the card is very loud under load.

Or they are waiting until next week for GTX 1080ti announcement?

1080ti will have a ridiculous price tag. Nvidia aren't phasing out the 1080.

So the best price that is on offer is not a deal? I agree with the sentiment but not in this case.

So? It is a good deal for those who want a blower, dont care or are water blocking it anyway.

So you vote things cold because you don't want it? The ti won't effect the price of the 1080, the to will sit somewhere between the 1080 and Titan price wise, its not a replacement.

I have not voted either way. Was just a reason why people might not be thinking it's a good deal. If you game at 1440p then you can save money and get a 1070 and if you want to game at 4k then the 1080 is a compromise. With the 1080ti it will be less so. So if you are going to splash big cash you may as well wait and spend the little extra (if it's £699 as expected) on a more suitable card for the job.

But it seems the the community has spoken and they don't think it's a good deal at this time. :)

better of waiting if u want 1080 performance vega will arrive in the next few months and will compete with the 1080 at a lower price and will drop the 1080 price as well.
