As this has been posted before, can anyone who got it before give their opinion of it, is it worth buying or not.
My dad likes this kind of thing, but I don't know enough about this kind of music, is it a worthwhile purchase or not.

Yes, I'd say, certainly at this price, if your dad likes G&S it's a no-brainer.
You might want to point out to him he can skip the Doug Fairbanks intros:-)

Nothing would terrify me more. G&S were the "Black Lace" of the Victorian era.

There's no way to tell if this is a good deal or not as there is no information about the cast or company! Apart from D'Oyly Carte there are few companies worth watching [especially the Australian Opera Company who are terrible beyond description] - so voted cold for that reason

Music by the London Symphony Orchestra, The Ambrosian Opera Chorus and a host of international stars including Peter Allen, William Conrad, Frank Garshin, Joel Grey, Frankie Howard, Peter Marshall, Keith Michell, Vincent Price and Clive Revill.

Originally produced for the brent walker video series in the early 1980s and conducted by alexander faris.
