Thanks, I wait for these to come round, so I'll be off to stockup tomorrow. I know some people don't like these, but they work for me - blade lasts about 7 to 8 weeks. I use King of Shaves Std Gel and no cuts or soreness, for the first time in my life. Yes, I tried the KoS Razor and never got on with it, these things are a very personal preference - I wish I could use Bics, but it is like a blood letting from the first stroke.

they are available for the same price in boots, but neither of my locals had them so when i saw this i posted to give people the choice

I bought one of these packs from boots the other day for the same price and it only came with 5 blades, 4 in the pack and 1 on the razor. Not sure if this one is the same.

Still a great deal though :) heat added

are you sure, the picture clearly shows the razor pack with 2 blades advertised

Yep, they are selling packs with 5 blades in Superdrug as well - 1 with the razor and 4 in the pack - scan through at £6.99. I suppose the 6 blade pack is a better offer, but they are both good deals.

scanning at £6.99? result!!

still not as good a deel as the 6 for £7.99 would be

I'll vote hot as its a good price.

BUT ..... when you take into account the 5000% mark up on these things its not that much of a bargain is it - apparently each blade costs 5p to produce !

So,nice deal - but I propose every man in the country should grow a beard for at least six months so these [email protected]#### at gillette are forced to drop the price !

Are you with me or not ? :viking::viking::viking:

I am with you! I wont give in to THE MAN at gillette! I grow a beard which I trim weekly using my Wahl dog clippers (I dont give in to THE MAN at remmington either!). I keep a few razor blades for interviews/court appearances but I only paid 99p for a pack of 5 blades at Morrisons (& they were buy one get one free at the time -so they worked out 9.9p each!). Anyhoo they were Morrisons own brand and the best bit.... they attach to my old skool Gillette Sensor! -Sticking it to THE MAN at Gillette big time baby- yay!

Can I borrow your clippers, I could do with a trim :p

Incredibly, even though they contain neither the word 'Gillette' nor 'fusion', generic blades from Poundland will still shave a beard successfully. It must be some kind of voo-craft ... or witch doo.
#11
yea i just use beard/hair clippers on the number nought setting and like the man says , save a few blades for interviews , court appearances , your funeral , you know the kind of things .

blades from Poundland are rubbish.

Thats a good deal. I got a similar one in Boots last weekend. Did not post it since it was running out of stock and did not appear like a BIG stock in sale. I will pick one in Superdrug now.. cheers

Costco currently have 16+1 blades for £25 inc VAT.

if you are a "real man" blades from poundland don't touch stubble at all only thing they do is chew your face.
#21
Just bought this pack - 4 blades plus 1 with the razor. Shelf sticker was £7.99 but scanned at £6.99 - happy days. Must admit I hate paying so much for blades but, as a 45 year old, I find that cheaper blades just rip my face to bits.

Downshifter

they did have four blades and either a shaving gel or moisturiser at Morrisons for £7.99 this week, but not sure if that's just clearance stock - if there's no Superdrug nearby.

Sigh. If only I were a real man I wouldn't have to shave with rubbish from the land of pounds. Still, lucky I have helpful friends here to point out my conFUSION and the error of my stubbly face-chewed ways. Who is Gill Ette anyway? Is she really the best a man can get?

Thanks, we already had the measure of you. I understand Bitterwallet take on people who can't write a blog.

bought them today, last one in wellgate superdrug :)

I do like the Fusion blades but generally stock up from eBay in bulk at about £1 a blade attachment (it usually takes a lot of auction sniping). I wouldn't pay more.
