What price for the refills?

Blimey! That is a good saving. Did you buy enough? ;) Are there any left for anybody else? ;)

Seriously, though, I did hear on a radio programme a few months ago (from a caller that used to work for a Company manufacturing the blades used in razors) that the blade in one of these new blister packs will last much longer than any of those in the "replacement" blade packs... by design.

Of course, I have no way to verify that fact, but just something to bear in mind.

BFN,

Yes there were loads - the shelf was still pretty full when I left. They do last a long time - well after the lubrication strip is away. Refills cost more than this each..so good deal if you can get it IMO.

Anyone know why it's called a Gamer razor? True gamers barely shave.

Shouldn't that have read 'Blimey! That is a good shaving.' !!

Great price though, given the blades alone are usually £2 - £2.50 each.

Yes, saw these today at Leigh shop. Did not bother as i got a few of the new wilkinson while they were on launch offer. And it is only one blade.
NOTE: the new Hydro from wilkinson are still on offer in there as well.

And I like squid.....

Shame on you all for not buying British! King of shaves all day long :p

I given up on these multi-bladed horrors.

I now shave Old School with a Double Edge Razor - better for my skin & wallet.

The cost savings are significant. A single blade lasts 3-4 shaves and costs 0.09p Compare that to the cost of refills!

I've also been using the same shaving soap for 8 months which was £5.00 - and still has over 80% left.

online they are priced at 6.99 for the fusion and 1 blade ... guessing your store had them in mispriced

totally agree with you. Fusione refill pack at OVER £20 in most stores, so i switched to King Of Shaves Azur only last week. Just as good a shave + £5.09 for the razor and 3 replacement blades = Happy Man.

I'm in Leeds tomorrow hope the local sainsbury has thesein stock, oh yeah for anyone who doesn't already know, buy a razor pit will savea fortune on blades, I last bought a pack of 4 blades 8 months ago, usually a 4 pack of blades wouldn't last beyond 2 months

i work in Superdrug, the Gamer range is discontinued, they problaby reduced to clear to make room for this new and may i add, overpriced new gillette razor, im telling ye, once gillette notice a drop in sales, they whip up a funky new name, change the colour of the razor and wala! 28% increase in sales.....

The 3 blade hydro is crap. ripped my face to bits *not really* but cut me a good few times.

Thought i'd try the 5 blade and it's a lot better. Although can't beat a good fusion.

Good price IMO if you can get them and, like them. Hot from me.

Very nice deal, don't get why it's called gamer though, really gamers (PC kind) don't ever shave - too busy coding hacks
#29
Full price in my local Sainsburys. :-(

2 for £15 in Tescos.

Interesting info. Thanks for that. By the way, What's"wala" - is that an extra bit on the razor? Or is it "Voila", as in French for "and there you go"? (_;)

Clever - but I think you mean Voilà (you missed out the umlaut. It means 'Les textes de vos chansons préféréesTrouvez une chanson en tapant son titre, l'artiste ou un extrait de parole. ...'

Looks to be store exclusive to me, probably been price wrong.

I used the Fusion and switched to King of Shaves, no one seems to stock King of around here any more so bought some blades for my Fusion while they were on offer. My King is now in the bin, yeah they're expensive but Fusion is way better than the King.

Bought Fusion Proglide the other day on the Sainsburys offer.

I tried one of these vibrating razor thingies when they were giving them away when they first came out. I'm amazed they're still around now as all the vibrating seemed to do IMO was give me the odd nick, it didn't give a closer shave.I don't understand the point of them, can someone please educate me?
#34
Bought two of these in Bristol (queen's road), there was still one left when I left (30 mins ago or so). Hot!
Edit: mine aren't 'power' just the regular gamer ones.

Priced at £1.50 in my local, although there were none left by the time I got there this evening. Someone who goes to my local must read HotUKDeals too!

They're suppost to take the hairs off better without pulling. Nothing to do with a closer shave just a less painful one. I dunno if it actually makes any difference though!

Voted cold, because you like squid.

Found in my main store, although it looked like the price printer was broken rather than the price being reduced! (scanned through at £1.50 though :) ) No highlighting, advertising, etc. If I didn't know about it from here I would have walked straight past it. Thanks OP!

I have also thought this to be the case with all Gilette new product inroductons for the last 15 years or so - best shave with "included" blade. However at this price wll buy 20 as i am paying that per blade for previous model!
