The World Cup promo ones were in the Axminster store for £2.00 on Saturday, so it's worth checking for these as well.

is this for the power or manual? the price would suggest manual but the pic shown is for power.

Hot price! Has anyone gone from a mach 3 to a fusion? And did they notice any difference between the two?

Oh, also, does having a powered fusion make any difference compared to a manual fusion?

JagTag, I went from a Mach 3 to Fusion and wouldnt look back. Feeels better, cleaner shave, less irritation. Havent tried a Power version, but would be good to hear from someone who has tried that as well. This is a hot deal if you can get it. Tescos near me in N.Ireland never have these blade deals!!!

Great manual shaver at a decent price. Anybody know what the pricing is like for new blades?

Power version doesn't make diddly-squat difference for me. I just resort to using the Power version without a battery now. It might be because of how coarse my hair is so a second opinion wouldn't hurt.

i have the non powered one and the powered one :P, i prefer the powered one. Its a small but easily noticeable difference, glides over my face better with it on.

No it's a normal line. I spent ages trying to look up how its any different to the normal ones, and it turns out it's 100% the same as the normal fusion, just with a different name. Apparently it's meant to attract "gamers" to it - I can't really see how it makes a difference myself but who knows.

Aye, its just the colour thats the difference I believe....but I do like the colour of the gamer compared with the original....

Agree - powered Fusion is brilliant. Wouldn't go back to non-powered now...

Does anyone interchange the blades between powered or manual? I know the power blades cost alot more but I heard they were exactly the same as the cheaper manual blades. Can anyone confirm this?

I have the powered razor, been using manual blades on it fine since june/july when I got 2 packs of the worldcup ones(i.e. the pack with the england flag and hooter with 4 manual blades). the power blades appently have something on it that helps the blade glide better along your face causing less irritation.

I used a mach 3, then a fusion power, now just the manual cos its the best of all three.I use manual blades in both holders.

Sorry for late reply I forgot I'd posted this. Thanks alot for confirming that the blades are interchangeable it will save me money as when the power blades were on offer for really cheap in Boots I didn't get any but when I see them on offer now I can buy them and use them on the manual or the other way around. :D

Although this Gamer edition is still showing as £3.49 at Tesco online, I saw a label in store today showing it for £2.00.
