ASDA have reduced the price of some Gillette products, knocking Fusion Manual and Mach3 & Mach3 Turbo down to £5 for a pack of blades.

Online and instore ... although online has £5 per packet or 2 for £14.00...offer price needs updating I think!

Seems Gillette have been getting 4000% markup!:

Gillette's Fusion Razor cartridges four pack costs only 20p to manufacture, plus 8p for packaging. But they are sold for £9.72 - £9.44 : http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/417785/rip-off-gillette-s-fusion-razor-car/

Agreed but its their toss advertising and celeb sponsorship that drives up the price. Personally I go for Wilkinson Sword because of Gillette Turbo Fusion Supersonic Power ridiculous names and price.

Probably the dumbest post I've ever read on these bargain forums. Whomever spent (wasted) the time on the graphic needs to get out a bit more. I see it's hosted at the right-winged-Nazi-styled Daily Mail. A true business rag which would sell its soul to anyone and can only dream of being as useful as a razor.

I'm sure the word "profit" means very little when you consider Gillette's debt (credit) burden, tax bills, insurance, staff, advertising etc etc. Anyone who thinks someone's actually run off with those amounts need their head testing.

And they make great razors so they're worth every penny when you can get then at reduced cost. 20p though would be too good to be true and the company would go out of business and we'd be forced to walk about looking like people look with beards. You, know, bearded like :p

Personally I've moved to a safety razor where I can get 100 blades for £10, but this is undoubtedly a hot deal compared to the usual prices! Here's some heat!

I believe a lot of the blades on ebay are stolen, hence the low prices and continuous supply of blades to sell.
#23
Still around & also @ Tesco :)
#24
just bought 4 pacs from tesco - they had loads left.
#25
Bought four packs which should last me over a year. £20 for a years shaving very nice. Plus a bottle of baby oil used instead of foam or shaving oil is 100 times cheaper than king of shaves shaving oil. I now havethe smell and feel of a babys bottom. Givusakiss!!!
