Definately been listed before, quite a while ago though cos I bought some. Very good price and always worth a reminder.
#2
perfect timing - just about fainted when i saw the price in tesco yesterday!!
#3
do these fit the mach3 handle or do you have to buy a fusion pack first?
#4
What's the difference between these and the Fusion Power blades - they look the same to me, obviously they're marketing one at the Power shaver but is there actually any difference in the blades or is this just a way of charging more money?
#6
Just ordered a a pack. Nice find!
Heat and rep added!

I have used the Power blades for a while, then switched to the non-power ones to see the difference. After using a pack I am back on the power blades again.

the power blades have a better coating on the blades. They are sharper and last atleat twice as long. The standard blades went blunt very quickly for me.

"Fusion Power gets more techie. Its cartridges - which will also fit on the manual version - have a super-thin coating that Gillette says provides for an even closer shave. And while it runs on conventional AAA batteries, it incorporates an electronic chip to regulate voltage and otherwise ensure that the "shaving experience" is consistent as the battery drains. It even turns itself off if it sits idle for eight minutes.

In addition to the same core technologies shared with Gillette Fusion, Gillette Fusion Power features two additional enhancements.
# Gillette Fusion Power's five blades contain a patented coating, Thin Uniform Telomer, present on all Gillette power cartridges, resulting in Gillette's smoothest, most uniform blade coating. This Thin Uniform Telomer reduces the cutting force, providing incredible glide and comfort.
# The Enhanced Indicator Lubrastrip contains an additional premium ingredient: Natural Oils.

Power blades are worth the extra money IMHO. Yes the normal ones fit, but that's all they have to offer. A much nicer shave using power blades with power razor for me.

Interesting. What was your direct experience comparing both blades?
#19
If you want blades that last long - you should check out the King of Shaves Azor blades. Seriously they last at least 3 times longer than gillette - i was amazed, and they give a really close shave. Took a while to get used to the blade but now i would never switch back.

Also the blades are cheaper - 8 blades for about 9/10 quid

some good deals on ebay at the moment. no fakes.
#20
Thanks Ray :-D
#21
thanks good price - was going to buy some from Boots today so you have saved me a fiver
#22
Cheaper than anything else I could find on eBay. Thanks!
#23
sold out now?!
#24
good price, dont need any though after buying a load of gift packs and trial packs from boots, i have the next 12 months at least sorted for razors and shaving gel, other wise i would be after some of these.
#25
managed to get mine. thanks rayman.

I like the look of these - and KOS gel works well for me - but I can't see what's different about the blades over and above the usual mult-blade heads? The marketing blurb indicates they don't clog so easily, but it's hard to see why that would be the case.

SENSOR EXCEL 2

Best Gillette blades IMHO. Sharp, Long Lasting, A Cut Above The Rest....Hey Gillette better not nick that i just made it up hehe!

How often should you change the blades? Are these good for only 8 uses - as in - one blade per shave.
#32
good one!
