Product Description
Gillette Fusion is the first and only shaving system that has breakthrough technology on the front and the back of the cartridge. The front of the cartridge has 5 blades spaced closer together, forming a shaving surface. The blades of the shaving surface are spaced 30% closer together than those of the MACH3Turbo. This configuration distributes the shaving force across the blades, resulting in extraordinary comfort. In addition to more comfort, the 5 Blade Shaving Surface Technology also engages more hairs, more times with successive cutting action.

The back of the cartridge features a truly innovative Precision Trimmer. The Precision Trimmer is a single blade built into the back of the cartridge. To use the trimmer, consumers turn the razor over. In this position, the pivot feature is locked, giving consumers control and allowing them to better align and manoeuvre the blade. The locked pivot allows consumers to easily shave tricky places like sideburns and under the nose. For the 39% of men in Europe who have facial hair, the Precision Trimmer is also perfect for shaping around facial hair.Gillette Fusion features a new Flexible Comfort Guard which follows the contours of the face to help the Shaving Surface comfortably shave close.

The Indicator Lubrastrip has been enhanced: shave by shave, the entire Indicator Lubrastrip and not just one stripe gradually fades from green to white when optimal shave conditions have been reduced.
In addition to the same core technologies shared with Gillette Fusion, Gillette Fusion Power features two additional enhancements.
Gillette Fusion Power's five blades contain a patented coating, Thin Uniform Telomer, present on all Gillette power cartridges, resulting in Gillette's smoothest, most uniform blade coating. This Thin Uniform Telomer reduces the cutting force, providing incredible glide and comfort.

The Enhanced Indicator Lubrastrip contains an additional premium ingredient: Natural Oils.

Product Description
8 blades for the Gillette Fusion Power razor. Each blade cartridge features 5 closely spaced blades with patented glide coating plus 1 trimmer blade. The shaving experience is enhanced by the comfort guard and lubrastrip.

Do they not argue that the high price comes from the stupid amount they spend on R & D?
#6

Their advertising bill is gonna be a bit large too.

I'm sure that they are cheap to make but each head lasts for several weeks and more importantly they don't cut me to pieces (or leave a rash) like most other razors do.

I've been using Fusion Power for over 3 years now since I discovered them in the US and I have no intention of changing. (even if that does sounds like a cheesy quote that you'd find on a manufacturers website)

I paid £9.99 for 4 of them with a free moisturiser recently but this is a better deal. Duly ordered. Many thanks to rayman.
#13
Do these work with the non-power version?

ANYONE PLEASE??? Do the power blades fit the manual handle??

I could really do with knowing the answer to this before the stock runs out!
#18
Rip off. I got one of these as a christmas present it was the worst shave iv ever had. It feels like its pulling the hairs out of your skin even with a new blade. And the blades are only good for 3/4 shaves.
#19

That price is from a "RESELLER", if you order from a 3rd party then they are likely to be fakes, and you wont be able to tell until they take half your face off!
#27
Amazon's usual price!
#28
Love these razors they are expensive but do a brilliant job - ordered 5 packs.

I guess that it's important that you still use a good shaving gel or foam, if "it feels like its pulling the hairs out of your skin" then I'm doubtful you even used water let alone a gel/foam. :whistling:

Ye gods, what are they made of, Unicorn horn?

I'm waiting for them to come out with a 10 bladed one with powerball, tartar control, bi-carb, 2 in 1 with conditioner that won't make your colours run on a hot wash.
#31
Damn, looks like they've disappeared now
#32
bagged one thanks.

LOL, you 100% got bought a fake one! as whoever bought you it where they purchased it from, if they bought it off ebay, amazon market place, sunday market or any non branded shop then they will be 100 % fake, theres lots of sites that tell you how to tell, but they are damm close and near perfect copies.

I only buy from Boots, Leading supermarkets, amazon or any other leading high street brand.

No they don't (fit). Funny, it's how I was introduced to the "Fusion" from Mach3 ... have stuck to using the Fusion ever since. Agree with comment above (1) they tend to last for a bit (2) they don't cut me.

Brought these only last night for £13.96!

I only last week got some blades of ebay, thought they would be fine as the sellar had lots of positive feedback for the same blades, how wrong I was, 2 strokes and it nearly tore my face of

Is there anything I can do before leaving feedback, or is this simply learn the lesson of only buying from a reliable place?

I'd email him first and tell him that you have very good reason to believe that they are fake, ask him to refund you otherwise you will report him to trading standards for selling fake and counterfeit products, don't send the blades back to him unless he refunds you first as if you do go to trading standards they may want to see them.

If he gets arsey about it, then do a google search and find a nice page about how to tell they are fake or not and send him that link, if he refuses then open up a paypal claim (if you paid via paypal) and argue that the goods are not as described and are fake, you should have a good case.

If he wants the blades back, then he must pay you to send them, dont pay at your cost

You need to report it to the manufacturer and trading standards, they will destroy them and give you proof, then once you have done this open a SNAD, scan your proof of the irem being destroyed and get your money back 100% inc postage.
But yeah, DO NOT by blades off the bay, will 99% be fake.
Do not open a dispute until you can prove they are fake, you need this proof and then you won't have to return, otherwise pp only have your word for it, you don't want to really be sending them back at your cost, pp only inforce a refund on OUTBOUND postage.

I thought you could have a dry shave with these :-D

It was bought from boots/superdrug and I used it with the fusion gel it came with. it was a sh!t shave. I just had a shave with a 2 week old Bic one blade and 5p soap and it was better.
