This is my first post so please be gentle.

I went into my local boots store today to buy some replacement blades for my Gillette Fusion Power Razor. I picked up the eight pack for £19.99 and was on my way to the till when I saw this deal.

You get two extra blades and a new razor for just £0.01 more. Absolute Bargain

Good deal so voted hot but said it before, will say it again (or rather will link to previous post)
Gillette are an absolutely sodding ripoff and you're better off having a proper shave
While you're at Boots looking for one of these sets, with the money you save on the (horribly overpriced) RRP why not also pickup Boots' basic safety razor and a pack of blades for it - It'll only be a few quid or so, so you'll STILL be saving money and you can then compare the shaves you get and the price you paid.
I have a Gillette Fusion and i agree that the blades are far too expensive, but! the shave they give is as good as they advertise, it is very close, very good razor, wish blades were cheaper though..
i use to have gillette until some new blades i bought started to hurt really quickly. i bought another pack of blades and they were the same. not sure if it was a bad batch i got, but i picked up some disposable wilkinson sword razors (green and black). usually 4 razors for around £3.50 and sometimes bogof, but they give a better shave than the gillettes ever did, even before the bad blades i got, and they're cheaper too. haven't gone back to gillette.
ps. haven't voted either way. welcome to posting :)
works out at £2 a blade if you already got the stick, not a deal really. Agreed razor blades are too expensive, but worth bearing in mind manufacturing these is not an easy process
Voted hot as it's a good deal, but after somebody posted a link on here in a previous thread about the Gillette rip-off, I'm now the proud owner of a Merkur 38C razor, a pure badger brush and some 'Taylors of Old Bond Street' shaving cream.. all from Your text here (Don't fiorget Quidco).

The best shave, honestly.

I agree with you (I use gillette fusion too) but, I can see that other makers have cheaper prices, that make me to think that they charge me to much for my razor blades.
Cold for me i'm affraid... the "England football" packaged 4 x blades are still £5 in Tesco (with free flag and mini-vuvuzela for what its worth).. on that basis you can get 12 blades for £15 so cheaper for more...

Still a good deal if you don;t have a local Tesco or its sold out.

Either way check out Terry:
Great deal.
excellent deal....thanks for that....have been looking to get some new blades for ages, but been waiting for a deal like this
Thanks to a pricing error in the Skegnes store I got this for £5. I got the last three when I realised. Not sure if the error is local or national. A good deal even without the error though.
cheers buddy good deal
