Careful, ebay ones can be fake. I was once a victim of an excellent fake Gilltte blade pack

Razor blades are like cars. Once you have found the one that works for you, to change brand is not an option.

From the photo it looks like they were flying off the shelf!

I was in Asda Gorseinon earlier and there were none.

Edit:

Actually checked out the razor blade section for any fusion deals but none were there.

If you have that mentality why bother being on HUKD, buy everything close to full price...

Or just stop being a sucker for marketing and buy a merkur DE and get 100 blades for £8

You've been conditioned into believing that more blades is better by clever/deceptive marketing... at least you're shaving and not sporting a hipster Amish beard I suppose.

DE razors give a better shave for lower cost. It may require a larger initial investment but a quality DE razor will last a lifetime. I wouldn't go back to a multiblade cartridge razor if I got a lifetime supply for free.

Hot in terms of what they usually cost though, even if the manufacturing cost is about 5p per blade.

I beg to differ. I made the reluctant switch from Ferrari to Lamborghini and don't have any regrets..

I'll get my coat..

Been a while since anyone posted on thread but probably some good reading here:

Multi-bladed razors are the solution to the problem of manufacturers asking "how do we make more money out of shaving?".

Convince the punter more blades are better. More blades are ****. They get clogged up in about three passes of my face and take ages to unclog. And a cartridge costs about 20x a single blade. How is this better?

Was a full end of them.

Traditionalshaving co uk, badgerandblade, Amazon

I would recommend Merkur 33c and Gillette 7 o clock blades, you can't go wrong.

Taylors of Bond St cream and a Vulfix brush if you're going to buy everything else.

What is the expiry date for these? Maybe Gillette are coming up with a new range with 5 blades hence selling them cheap?

Save yourself an absolute fortune and go with traditional razors and shaving sticks. you'll never buy cartridges again.

Definately. In fact their designers are probably working on 7, 8, 9 & 10 blade models.

Its ridiculous marketing ploys. I still use 2 blade razors as anything above clogs up with hairs between the blades.

Although i didn't know they existed till today, I can totally see why the Merkur DE razors are so premium.
