Nation wide deal for Gillette Fusion Men's Proglide for £5.93

Lots of positive reviews praising this razor.

The Power version of this razor is also available at £7.43. Think it does provide a better shave as some reviewers have suggested but would appreciate what the hotukdeals community thinks.

Buy a DE razor, best thing I did; you get a better shave and a pack of 10 blades is £1.

Any particular ones you could recommend buddy? I understand that DE razors are a lot more initially expensive.

I got this without ever using one before, and got on fine with it, as some people say you need to get used to them before you buy but I found it a god send. Just don't buy this as your first, it's infamous for ripping your face open if you don't use the right angle.

Honestly if you try one you won't go back, but I do love a quick and dirty bic sometimes :{

Edit: also for the blades.

Always scared me, that raw big thick blade. Could easily slice through skin and maybe a vein lol.

I just came across this deal and thought it was a good post for any lads out there. Can't beat a lovely throwaway bic. Great razors for disposables.

The exposure of the blade on DEs are really concealed apart from more aggressive ones like the merkur, if you were talking about a cut throat then I'd agree with your trepidation but you've got nothing to worry about with the Edwin Jagger. Hope you reconsider some time ;)

Oh I ordered the DE you suggested. I planned to pop into Superdrug and pick up the Gillette but sod that. Higher upfront cost with the DE always but cheap blades make it incredible value over the long run. Wasn't too convinced by the fusion in the end. I'd had one of the earlier models and after thinking about it, couldn't see there being a radical difference. A DE razor meanwhile could be worth the hype.
