You can pop to town with £5 and come back with this promotional pack from Boots today, they have plenty in stock. You just need to make a stop off at the nearest bookmakers en-route, stick your £5 on Casamento to win the Racing Post Trophy at Doncaster, and keep your fingers crossed.
#14
I hope this is correct as I really need these.
#15
Legitimate deal, left over from the promo a few weeks back... like rocking horse dung however.

Good find op... you should have stocked up.

Had a whole cardboard display case full of them this morning

I saw this in Asda earlier in the week. While the big cardboard sign certainly looked like what the OP says, upon checking the actual pack it was just 1 blade.
#22
i to saw this deal but you got one blade, you got the shaver and battery's + 1 blade

Dont see someone asking for proof as pointless.Might be easier just to post the receipt and that would give folk the proof. Many others have posted resceipts, its not a big deal for someone to ask.

Now my comment, perhaps I can agree with. But that's not a very polite reply to sexy sue. At least with a proof of purchase, a few more people may take the risk of having a family outing to Burton Asda.

I got this back but it wasnt £5. If it were i would have cleared them out!

Then maybe you could put on a photo of your receipt to prove people wrong?

Got to store, and the lovely Laura had put them out at 8am this morning, but they went very quickly - so this is a genuine deal, but store specific, as they were clearing them. It's a shame that some were sceptical, as the poster was trying to help others.

There should potentially be some penalty for blatantly disputing that something can be true - whatever happened to open minds? I generally agree that if something is too good be true, it probably is - like Occam's razor, the simplest explanation is usually right. In this instance, the simplest explanation was that the poster was honest, and this was a legitimate deal. If people were doubting, they could have rung the store directly, and asked them, rather than discouraging others who may have been able to get this deal. The store sold a lot of these today, some were lucky, many were not, but the poster was doing his/her best to help others out.

Fair point but would it not have been easier just for the OP to have posted his receipt when there was doubt?IMHO he could have nipped it in the bud there and then but as soon as he came out with the "I dont have to prove anything" comment you can see he was only adding fuel to the fire. From some of his comments he really didnt seem to want to help by stopping the comments. With deals like this it only takes a couple of moments to ask at the info desk if it is store specific as i have done it a couple of times at the local asda and they never have a problem telling me if it is or not.

The reason people get annoyed with these kind of things is having to waste petrol and time hunting them down if there is a doubt and then finding the store doesnt do that deal.So i would suggest maybe next time just if someone doubts you to just quickly post the receipt as plenty of others have done instead of the "I dont have to prove anything" routine.
