Gillette Fusion Stealth Power Razor trial pack which includes the razor itself (which comes with a blade) and pack of 4 free blades, is now half price instore at Boots.
The razor by itself is £9.99, as is the pack of 4 blades, so £9.99 for both is great value.

These things are a joke! Expensive to buy and expensive to refill.
Didn't Gillette get into hot water in the states over claims for their mach 3 power. I don't think it shaved any closer than the non-powered one so why do they keep pushing this stuff over here?
The first time I used a non-powered fusion I gave myself a cut 2 cm long that looks like a duelling scar now, think it's the odd angle of the head and the number of blades. Can't see where the blades are and they don't drop into the wrinkles!

I take it you're a big fan then ? :-D

Only blades that i've used for past couple of years, good price

A razor with 5 blades is an absolute joke. Even the Mach3 had one blade too many. Will they launch a ten blade razor before the end of the decade?

Who is the target audience anyway - people who read Nuts magazine or Max Power IMO.

How many wrinkles do you have.?I am in my 50's and never had a problem
#9
I have tried many shavers over the years, and I am not easily convinced by blurb, but I rate this one extremely high, though it is expensive.
#10
This is the best razor I've ever used. The mach 3 was good, this is far better.
#11
and does the power one make any difference against the standard fusion??

Depends if we're talking undercarriages or not :-D
#13
these are the best blades ever. the blade easy lasts 3 months so they work out well cheap.

imo it makes the shave slightly less close but alot more comfortable.
for the wilkinson sword quattro id say the power adds nothing at all and even makes it worse (in case anyone wondered lol)
#15
Blades last a very long time so whilst I hate to admit it, and despite the obscene price tag lol they seem to kinda make good value for money in the end - considering how much nicer the shave is.
#16
Just when I needed a new razor the offer seems to have finished !
#17
normal fusion still there (think has 6 blades not 5 as you get 2 in razor at start)

I use these and personally think they are better than my old Mach 3. It may not be a closer shave but it's certainly easier. :D
#19
i wonder if anyone is sad enough to check the patents office - i'd lay money gilette have reg a 6,7,8,9 and even 10 blade razor!

You must have bum fluff to contend with. I'm lucky if they last the week. Only saving grace is that the Wilkinson Quattro is complete tut by comparison.

I personally can't stand electric razors. They play havoc with my skin ;-)

I picked mine up today in the Croydon store. They had plenty, but they werent priced on the shelf. Just took it to the checkout and it scanned in at £9.99

Yes the 5 blades is a gimmick, but that aside, for a manual these probably give the best shave I've had...

Good deal - tesco had the non power "value pack" at £16 recently!

While you spend money on expensive replacement blades or fancy electric razors claiming they give the best shave, I have to disagree, the razor I have gives the best shave possible in my opinion and the blade will last a lifetime quite literally, the question is..... are you brave enough to try it? I used to swear by mach 3's and the like, not any more these are the bee's knees, with a strop mine came to about £45 wich is less than 10 packs of 4 blades yet will last me forever! And the closeness unsurpassable!

Its quite amazing we buy products to remove 1/3 of the hair from our head.

Why not rebel and remove the top left hand side third!!!

I get about 4 shaves out of a blade. Should I use it for longer???

Can't argue with this post. Best shave I ever had was at a barber shop using one of these babies. I didn't need to shave for days afterwards. Have I seen you on the Badger and Blade site Harlzter? Sounds like your sort of website. I still use the old fashioned single blade DE type of razor that my dad used to use and get truly fantastic shaves at tiny prices for replacement blades.

BTW, the words "Gillette Fusion Power" and "great value" have no place in the same sentence, unless the word "not" is also featured in that sentence. :p

Before you all rush out and buy this offer, you should try the new King Of Shaves Azor razor. Got one these a couple of weeks ago, and it give's the best shave I've ever had. I've tried all the Gillette & Wilkinson Sword razors and have to say the Azor gives a far better and closer shave. The replacement blades are cheaper too.

I don't know why anyone bothers with cartridge razors; it's so expensive and not even particularly good.
