In store (Llanelli) last night and picked up 4 of these packs, loads on the shelves.

Fantastic Deal considering the 4 pack of blades will set you back nearly £8.00 alone.

Also the Gillette HydraGel Shaving Gels are half price at £1.36 (think these were posted a few weeks ago so not sure if ongoing offer??)

Sorry not sure if available online as not registered to check.

Could someone help me out with picture/link as I have tried but failed (first post!)

I remember the giant cockup with tesco's and those razor blades last time, it was a error and was suppose to be 7.72 reduced from £15 odd.. good if your local store has them in stock at this price, dont trust online if available there..
#2
I price checked in my local store at tea time yesterday but still 7.72 at ours. But I did get a pack for 36p a couple of weeks ago so can't complain : )

Good. 36p WAS clearly an error and hell slap it into you for being so greedy as to order ten sets. :p

I paid £7.72, which i thought was cheap as everywhere else this was no less than £9.
£3.86 has to be an error in store.....STOCK UP QUICK if your store has messed UP!!!!!!

I couldn't find these in the Fforestfact, Swansea store :( Good deal though.

those are meant to be the best razors around now

I found these fusion blades to give a pretty pants shave, when compared with the Mach 3's.

Still, good deal if you can find it.

I've used it and I thought it was pretty pants ot be honest. Feel cheap and plasticky. Wasn't too bad first shave but second shave ripped me chin to bits.

It probably said at the top of the page you were reading: "advertising promotion" or something similar!

Can these Fusion blades be used on the Fusion Power (the one that vibrates) or are the Power blades different?

Yes you can use them on the power and also power blades on the non power fusion. I think the only difference is a different colour lubricating strip but I could be wrong.
#23
I just had delivered today off ebay 8 gillette fusion power blades for £10.98 incl P&P. They were £18 for the same pack in Tesco.
I couldn't comment on its performance as they're for my husband but I hate how much razor blades cost and even begrudge what I paid for these but at least I managed to save some money with it. I'm now going to look at getting myself a new razor off ebay, they seem to be far cheaper than in the supermarkets or boots.

Just check my local store, £7.72p i remember the last price offer, couldn't find that price ether! haha, with have to keep looking Hahahahahahaha.

Thanks crumpetman, can anyone else clarify the situation?

I have just bought the Power pack from boots, 4 blades in the pack and 1 on the razor for £10. If i can use the normal blades on the Power, assuming they work the same then i will return the pack to Boots and go for these instead.

I agree there and find it odd that Gilette are now running adverts to persuade people to bin their Mach 3 rather than persuading to switch form a different razor i.e wilkinson sword etc
#27
7.74 in wilko's as well
#28
I ditched my Mach3 a while ago (because the handle was getting pretty manky). Then the only handle I could find was the Fusion, with a few free blades.
I'm afraid once these blades are used I'm going back to mach3 - I just need to find a handle. Do boots still stock them? I know Gillette are pushing the fusion very hard. The blades are twice the price though!

most blades sold on eBay are fake. I got conned once.

The reason being that these blades last half as long and cost twice as much as the mach 3. Therefore approximately 4x the price.

They are brilliant at first, but I can't get more than two shaves out of them. The mach3 will last me almost a week (I only shave on work days :-D )

it fell apart on first shave (the lubricating strip i mean). ripped my chin as well. The seller immediately refunded my money back!

I also had some fakes off ebay. The packaging is one way to tell. The pack would appear to be stuck down with a glue gun opposed to a nice even spread of glue done by a machine in the gillette factory. There should also be a serial number on the blade where it attaches to the razor arm (on the curved underside). The fakes won't have this serial number. If your blades have any of these evident then get a paypal refund. I would never buy blades from ebay again after that. I would rather pay more and know it is the real deal.

Same here, had fake ones off ebay. I wont buy blades off ebay again.
Gillette confirmed that they were fakes and sent me a voucher.
#35
I got fakes off ebay too, was a right job trying to get a refund as the seller claimed they were genuine. Paypal weren't too helpful, lots of emails, waitings, faxing etc. as the seller really was dragging it out.

Gillette labs paid to take them away and confirmed they were fake, gave me a voucher towards some proper ones. Had to fax the labs reply up to paypal in the US as proof they were fake! Woman at Gillette also said all their blades on ebay are fake as they don't allow agents of theirs to sell on ebay, so maybe they are all fake.

The whole thing put me right off ebay, haven't bought anything on there for months.
#36
Ebay at its best!!!

I bet even after you sent confirmation the blades were fake they continued to be sold on Ebay.

So what is the difference between someone selling fake CDs at markets - and Ebay - both are profiting from the sale of dodgy goods. Ebay was even fined in France for this.
#37
I ordered 6 packs when tesco mispriced it at 36p.
Got a bill for 49 pounds.
Spoke to customer services, 24 pounds refunded!!!!!.

I just bought one of the power razors sets for £9.94 (half price). When I paid the till spit gave me 200 points on any Fusion Razors.

I took it straight to the customer service desk and asked if they could adjust the points on my account and they did. I use the 'deal vouchers' so these points are worth £8 to me. So thats a new razor set for £1.94, good deal in my book, cheers Tesco

went into tesco today and this is £7 something?

its around 7.x in Tesco
