These are so expensive in the shops now that there are snides out there now.

You have been warned.

These seem a good price though, although I generally go for the Gillette Turbo 3s, which I find are exactly the same, but about a 2/3s of the price of Mach 3s.

I assume 'Snides' means fakes.

Stay away from Ebay.. I bought some from there and they were awful!

Asda are selling the four blade razor with battery, Fusion or something for £4, and it includes a can of some shaving gel decent size too.
#6
Wonder if these guys sell Second Hand blades like the Second Hand (faulty) PSP LCD Display they sent me?

That'll do for me...

They are selling it at that price because the replacement blades are ten quid for four.

Are you on a mission to diss DX? I have answered your previous thread, in a fair, polite manner & I fail to understand your absurd comment!

btw, these are most likely fake. I would not buy these blades from anywhere other than a reputable onshore retailer

If he has had a bad experience with a retailer, there is absolutely nothing "absurd" about pointing that out for others to be aware of.

I got stung years ago on ebay for Mach 3's. But I have bought genuine blades on there too.

All you need to know.

Great, has he had a bad experience with these blades, I think not, so why should he continue to discredit this company? My feelings are that you have had no experience of the company, so why are you supporting this bias? Sadly I believe that you are going to join this crusade! Please speak from experience, rather than imagination.

It's not worthwhile to buy blades from dubious e-retailers. Just buy them from legitimate sources and avoid the hassle of fakes.

I would agree with that statement!

Methinks the lady doth protest too much. Just what is your connection to this retailer that makes you so sensitive?

You're right: I have no experience of this company, so I'm glad to hear from those who do.

To repeat: if someone has had a bad experience with a retailer, I am happy to know about it. It does not necessarily mean I will conclude that they should be avoided, as every store can have one-off bad moments, but I am still happy to hear opinions.

If your connection to this store goes beyond a simple customer-retailer relationship, perhaps you should make that clear.

But even then you can never be sure. Not so long ago all the supermarkets had to remove fake Tetley teabags from there shelves due to them being fakes.

I use Wilkinson Sword Quattro Titanium now as the blades seem to last a lot longer than Gillette blades.

Ps have used Deal Extreme before with no problems.

That's an understatement. Quattros seem to last weeks. Great blades.

Point is, I ordered something NEW.

They sent me something SECOND HAND & BROKE.

They ignore my emails.

Feel it is fair to point out my experience to other potential customers of this "company".

@ timwishart

Do the turbo's fit on the mach 3 razor or do you have to have the turbo razor?

They slip straight on.

Thanks for the tip. I may try the turbo blades next time if they work out cheaper.
