I had 2 of these today on my lunch break , the steak and chicken & mush ones. I nuked them in the mike and they went nice and soggy ! bloody lovely .

Healthy food tastes great these days

Compared to the real deal, these things are horrid! They always leave a greasy film in my mouth that takes forever to go. Give me a proper pasty anyday! Probably been spoiled with living in Devon and Cornwall. You can't beat an Ivor's!

Totally agree. Ginsters pasties are real "Crud" compared to Ivor Dewdney and other "Real" Oggies. I should know having been born and bred in the Plymouth area.

These bare very little resemblance to a real pasty.

To call them Cornish is probably racist.
#12
Filth.

Rather eat my own feces.

You disgust me.

Greasy horrible slimy stuff with very little filling. Always makes me have terrible '2 bob bits'.
You want a proper pastie?? Think you can handle it?? Get yourself to Aldi, buy a giant cornish pastie for 99p. Bung it in the oven as per instructions. Et viola; one mean pastie with a 'proper crust' and proper filling. You won't look at ginsters again.

Not born there, but live just outside. Hubs born n' bred. He is what you would call a pasty snob!
#16
why do they have to put so much pepper in all the things they make, i have had the pasties and the pork pies and all you can really taste is the tons of pepper.
#17
these are lousy !!!

UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUgGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG
Wouldn't eat these things if they were free. Ginsters are an insult to cornish pasties! Guess which way I'm voting.:viking:
