do you think they work with PC ?

Not sure about this model, only have the official Dual Shock and got them to work on my PC with the right drivers and adapters.
Check the DS3 Tools, i use them to configure the buttons/commands etc.

But Giotecks commented on their own Youtube channel that they can work but not officially supported.

A review on Amazon mentions it is used on a PC. You have to move the usb receiver each time between the PS3 and PC and vice versa. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gioteck-GC-2-Wireless-Controller-Street/dp/B00EPXXCD0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1420540711&sr=8-1&keywords=wireless+street+king

Cool 8)
I'll only use it on the PC so the swapping thing isn't an issue for me :)

Heat to push this into Hot. :)
#12
Good price but I wouldn't buy a Gioteck pad, as I have done on a couple of times before and they seem to always end up packing up.

Thanks - can't complain at £8!

Seems like the right time to get into previous-gen gaming :)

Worth a punt at this price, but I'm a bit wary of quality of Gioteck gear after trying one of their headsets.

However, a reviewer on Argos suggests that the vibration feedback doesn't work with the PC due to the lack of driver.

I'm getting one anyway for my PC and will test it out, I play mainly football games so vibration doesn't really matter to me.

Just for your info, I found a gioteck PC version wired controller for £5.99. from eBay Argos. Only found it after placing the order for this GC-2 though.. lol

I've ordered anyway cause it's cheap lol , fingers crossed

Great price but why have offset thumbsticks for a PS3 controller?
#24
Ordered this! thanks for the post! I've been after a 2nd controller for a while and didn't want to fork out for the official one. Reviews on Amazon are very encouraging too. I did click and collect from my local Tesco. Will be collecting mine on Thursday. Heat added.
#25
Amazon fire tv recognises the controller, only tried a couple of games but seems to respond ok
#26
With the associated usb dongle plugged into the USB port (may be obvious but thought I'd mention )
#27
Hold on, are you saying that you need to plug a bluetooth dongle into the Fire TV USB port? Isn't the controller Bluetooth? And doesn't the Fire TV have Bluetooth built in for the "normal" remote?

Perhaps this is why my other controllers didn't work - but I've just tested with 3 bluetooth dongles plugged into the Fire TV (BT2,3&4) and still nothing.

What did the dongle that came with the Gioteck look like? Was it Bluetooth?
#28
I've tried to sync direct to the fire tv and it's not showing up when searching for controllers . I'm not using the USB port for storage (may try in the future with xbmc) so thought I'd give the dongle a go and it paired with that ok. I'm fairly new to this but thought I'd give it a shot for the kids to play on
#29
Dongle is about 3cm by 1.5 cm -made by RoHS model PS3-11. The box the controller comes in says GC -2 Bluetooth controller on the side. I'll have a bit more play with it tomorrow

Ah, right, so the dongle is something that comes along with the controller? I didn't see anything about that on any of the info pages.
Thanks!

(btw, RoHS isn't a brand, it's this http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Restriction_of_Hazardous_Substances_Directive )

The documentation however makes no mention of Bluetooth.
Not sure if the controller and dongle are linked by Bluetooth. Sorry I can't be more help

Yeah the dongles in the box with it. First impressions seems ok although I was kinda making the buttons up a bit on the games but it was responsive and navigating the fire home screen was working fine
#33
Where is the best place to buy the official one from? Not sure how weird using this would be be with offset thumbsticks
#34
Ordered 2 and picked them up tonight. Look sturdy enough but didn't realize you need to plug 2 Bluetooth dongles in for both of them to work. Is it possible to get 3 of them to work when they're are only 2 USB ports on the ps3
#35
Has anyone managed to get this working on a PC?

The controller appears within Windows Control Panel however I've just downloaded a free version of Need for Speed & the controller doesn't control anything.

As the post just a few above yours says

Yeah the dongles in the box with it.

Indeed - if the box was sealed, have another look - it's small and black in a little polybag thing.

At least you and I got one - they're now out of stock :(

And yes, it seems to work perfectly with my Fire TV - brilliant!

Thanks digitaltoast... I found the polythene in my bin.. I threw it last night and strangely I couldn't find any mention about the dongle on the booklet...

Connected and used it... Works just fine...
