Just purchased this for my little cousin he loves his shooting games and for the price you cant go wrong!!!

The HF-1 has been ergonomically designed to enhance ‘FPS’ gameplay, producing a second nature control stance familiar only to Xbox 360® owners. We have taken the wants of the hardcore online gamer, and provided a controller that is precise, durable and above all else comfortable, so that it can be played well into the early hours of the morning! All of our focus and budget has been placed on quality components and materials. Bells and whistles have no part to play when it comes to war! You’ll find it’s the little touches that make all the difference.

Judging by all the dead zone reviews, this controller is utterly pointless and overpriced.

this isn't really a deal is it? Isn't £30 just the rrp O_o

Besides why have a third party controller when the official sony ones are 2-3 pounds more (or in some cases actually cheaper).

the original dualshock3 is the best controller you can buy,i even stopped using the low quality xbox360 wireless controller for pc & now i'm using a dualshock3 instead, perfect control over games. :)

Seems to be about the normal price, so not much of a deal - i've been looking for a decent Xbox style controller for the PS3 though, the dualshock controller has not moved with the times and has a pretty poor layout for FPS' (which are pretty much most of the market).

I dont use my PS3 nearly enough to buy this though, maybe if it was £15 i'd give it a go.

That controller looks like it's been raped.

Sorry if that offends anybody but it really does.

Its well known that the 360 controller layout is considered superior to the dualshock by a large amount of gamers, the one negative about it is the dpad (so if your genre of choice is fighting rather than FPS' sure the dualshock wins).

For FPS' the Dualshock has incredibly awkward thumb positions and not the greatest trigger buttons, the 360 controller has a much more natural layout for your thumbs, the analogue sticks are concave (ever wondered why those addon buttons for the sticks are so popular on the ps3?) and they're much more responsive. The dualshock was great 10 years ago when the dpad was primarily used, but gaming has moved on since.

Its all about personal taste though, for me, the dualshock cramps my hands using it for any length of time playing FPS', im sure a lot prefer the dualshock though given they have grown up with it. If you follow any gaming websites though, you'll find the 360 controller is prefered.
