I know, right. Not sure why this is a deal anyway (OP doesn't seem to indicate whether it's return or not so cheaper by plane lol)

But how can you sing the wheels on the plane go round and round, doesn't quiet have the same ring too it.

As much as I agree it would be a nightmare, don't be so smart to suggest people only travel by bus because they are poor. Some people have a severe phobia of flying

Cold. For an extra 20 quid you could get a plane (and it's return)... Oh and 2 hrs and 40 mins. ...

I thought at first this sounded like a cool adventure. Then I remembered the only Megabus trip I have ever taken, a one hour Megabus journey I recently took to Newbury and realised that being able to survive a journey 36 times longer was simply impossible. Everyone else seemed to be having a decent time, although I can't be sure due to language difficulties - what with me speaking English.

I remember my mum's now dearly-departed best friend telling me her stories of hell on the bus to Benidorm. She said, on the way there, no problem, you're excited and you can just get drunk (!), on the way back it's an absolute ordeal and the journey home takes forever.

I'd be tempted myself but me and long bus journeys don't get along! Anyone who can handle this deserves a free air journey as a reward!!

bus journeys to Spain are fantastic, just get a massive cargo

least you would see more by bus. prob a lot of motorways but you still see things that are nice

Not everyone likes to fly.
A bus full of Glaswegians would be preferable to a bus full of knobs.

I'll agree that long on a bus is an ordeal but it provides an option for the phobics unless you're afraid if buses.

Did a 24 hour bus ride once. Never again.
#24
I was just going to book (_;) when I noticed that the price is now showing at £32.50, plus it would cost me another £25 to get to Glasgow from Nottingham.

because everyone remotely close to Glasgow is a benefit cheat.......

that's like saying everyone who thinks this is ignorant narrow minded reprobates, or is that just yourself?? ;)
#37
voted cold, 36 hours is way too long sorry.

Book early I expect this bus to be full if Scotland gains independence

Still can't workout how a country with a third of its population in retirement (and 6-7% unemployed) is going to survive, oh yes, they.ll sponge off the uk for the first 50 years of independence
