Also quite concerned they are a charity and buy tickets to hand out to people but more likely the staff will help themselves. I let mines lapse too lol.

I'd prefer they invested the money back into their gyms. Fed up playing what weight is what on the dumbells. Their idea of a refurb appears to be a new pen to write the numbers back on!

How to apply
To apply for the Glasgow Kidz Card, you can download and print out the Glasgow Kidz Card application form (PDF File 440kb, 8 pages). You will require Adobe Acrobat Reader to access this form. This software can be freely downloaded from the Adobe Website.
How will we use and store your information
You can find out more about this by reading page 8 of the Glasgow Kidz Card application form. Please also read our Data Protection Notification.
You can also ask for a pre-printed application form from your local library, leisure centre or school office.
Alternatively, collect the form from the Kidz Card team at 20 Trongate. We're open Monday to Friday (office hours, including lunchtimes).

they did get into the science centre free at certain times, but that offer is suspended at the moment. In addition to free swimming they also get into a lot of holiday activities free instead of having to pay at sports centres.
I've got a feeling they do. I think that the cooncil made up the budget shortfall last year and then kids from Glasgow city show a card and they get in for free. Could be wrong though, cos I need to pay for my kids

Its not free ! its £5 for the braehead boat trips.Its only free to get on the boats that are berthed & on display all boat trips are at a cost. Details are here .There is a permant boat that takes you from glasgow city centre to braehead everyday normally. Details here it is £4.25 single & £7 return.

most of the museums now have a standard entry charge which on average are around £5. depending on the length / residency of the exhibits.
