Previously you had to buy two bottles to get this price. In my view the best Whisky Liqueur.

Glayva is a liqueur from Leith, Scotland. It is made from a blend of aged Scotch whiskies, anise, clove, herbs, heather honey, tangerine, other citrus fruits, and almonds. It has a deep gold color.

It is produced by Whyte and Mackay Ltd of Glasgow, Scotland.

The name is an anglified spelling of Gl?hath, which means "very good" in Scottish Gaelic.

For the benefit of the English...

Its a whisky - you have it with more whisky :whistling: :whistling: :whistling:

Ice or Whisky (known in scotland as a rusty nail). It's similar to Drambuie if you've heard of that. I like both but they do taste different (kind of like baileys and all the other ones except these are of equal stature/price)

Rusty nail is a LETHAL mix.

If you have class, then you bring in the Bells with a whisky or a malt. Not a liqueur.

I used to drink this years ago. Best way I can describe it is by comparing it to southern comfort and Cointreau. If i remember rightly its 40% proof but goes down as easy as Cointreau does. Seems a bit misleading calling it a whisky, even though it is. I hate most Whiskys I've tried.

Agreed......good description, dont particularly like whisky either but this is a really nice alternative, good deal for a tenner.
