Great result this is a lovely drink and I normally don't like blends.

Good price for something better than Bells etc.

However, don't set too much store by the age. Once it has been in the barrel for 15 years it is not going to take on any more flavour. It's not worth paying more for 20/25/30 year old.

I'm not a whisky drinker myself (gin please) but married to a man that is, and spending 5 years in Morayshire, taking friends on the whisky trail we got to learn a bit about the stuff.

Voted hot by the way as it's certainly a good price to try something different from the usual brands.

yeah that's why the price starts to rocket above 15 years old

Brilliant

This is excellent, better than most malts up to 15 years old. Very smooth and drinkable.

Should be national, if in stock - Try scanning if the price on shelf label is not reduced - worked with me with the Ben Bracken 12YO

Mysupermarket link for Glen Alba 22YO

A few bottles of this purchased after buying some of the 8 and 12 year olds yesterday, thanks for the heads up on this one... I think that's 10 in total though a few as a present for my Dad

This is one I purchased earlier in the year and have just about finished so nice timing :)

I have a wide range of Malts and some special blendeds but I am always happy to find an everyday whisky to supp without thinking about it. I did buy a bottle of this last year when it came out and think it is quite a nice blended. So, on the pretext we needed some milk and bread, I went off and bought the last 4 bottles in the local store.......

"What, this cheap old whisky dear?........ been in the cupboard for years!......."

Nice drop! Rude to leave it there for £14.99!

Ian.
