It's actually not too bad. Initial impression was a bit insipid but that was right after a Talisker 10. Been back to it since just sipping away while working and it's actually quite pleasant.

For £15 it's an easy drinking Speyside bargain...

There are plenty other local ones up here to try, although not at that price. http://www.dcs.ed.ac.uk/home/jhb/whisky/spey.html

You think so? I found this hideous - better off with a nicer blended Scotch in my opinion

I'd say drinking diesel would be hideous - a bland Speyside is an inconvenience at worst :p Is it more of a bargain than Whyte & Mackay @ £15 a litre? Debatable...

WHISKY, not WHISKEY. FFS, this is happening far too often on HUKD. Since when did a Scotch Whisky become WhiskEy?!?!

This is the only whisky I've had to let breathe, like a red wine, before it became drinkable.

@ £14.99 this is cheap heat added thanks op

Agree with most if the positive comments, not bad, and definitely improved in the glass. But don't drink a good one before it. It's only £15 for goodness sake. Heated.

Not had this for a while but this was satisfactory. Just as pleasant as a more expensive glenmorangie or glenfiddich

Or a plane pilot. Wait before I get you both sacked using the drug and alcohol policy with random checks. :D

Chill out! We live in a world of auto correcting smart devices. I don't mind a Glen Moray peated so I would hope this is better than others at this price point
