Our distillery edition brings together the purest water with the experienced hands of our makers to create a classic single malt of smooth sophistication

The Glenallachie Distillery Edition brings together the natural purity of water with the experienced hands of our makers to create a single malt of smooth sophistication. Matured in Traditional Oak barrels to bring out fruity flavours, together with smooth & delicate vanilla notes.
The Glenallachie Distillery was built at the foot of Ben Rinnes mountain - and for good reason. After exploring 60 different natural water sources for our whisky, we found the purest water from springs 3000ft up the mountain's north-east face.
This spring is naturally filtered as it gently flows through the steep slopes of Scottish moss and ancient granite to our whisky makers at the distillery door.

No.
Relatively new distillery (founded 1967). No age on this, standard strength, owned by Pernod-Ricard.
Alleged £30 original price is a joke.
Might be ok, might not. Single malts available at Aldi for £17.99!

I am doubtful about this one. Most of the output seems to go for blends with the odd cask strength single release. This seems bog standard NAS so not sure why they've bothered calling it a distillery edition. That said, we're still waiting for someone who has actually tried it.

Really sweet and fruity single malt, opens up well with a few drops of water. Pleased with my purchase considering the price, an easy to drink single malt (and I have whiskies - blended, malt and grains - across various ages/price-points at home)
