Amazon generally offer the lowest prices on malt whisky and this is the cheapest price since 2014 so I very much doubt you saw this @ £24. Probably the 12 year old which is still stocked at that price or the Founders Reserve.

For the 15yo? Do you know if it's national?

It is possible at the minute. The co-op is de-listing some alcohol products and my local one has heavily discounted them. e.g. I picked up 2 bottles of Aberlour for £13.79 each today, they also had Co-op brand Highland single malt for £12 a bottle. Could be worth a look at your local co-op.

I'm sure it's a good price for an excellent whisky. However it's only 70cl. The per litre price is £43. I tend to get my whiskies at the airport, on arrival back into U.K. They often have "2 for £55" deals that are generally amazing value.

That's ok if your in and out of the country often and most people don't have that kind of access to an airport/duty free so the deal that's posted is excellent value for those of us that keep our feet on the ground.......well at least till weve had a few ;)

Fair enough. For anyone who does fly occasionally, the airport whisky deals tend to be good (note that scotch is generally 1 litre bottles at the airport). I'm partial to a Japanese whisky and can highly recommend the ones they sell at World of Whiskies at the airport.
