Drinking this reminds me of the old Fosters adverts about angels dancing on your tongue. ASDA sell this at £42 and have rolled it back to £32 (post budget). But this £30 offer from Tesco is the best post budget offer I've seen.

If you like Highland/Speyside type malts then the ordinary 12 year old Glenlivet is very nice. (currently on offer at Tesco for £20 - see previously posted deal) There's also a 15 year old (which I haven't tried) but this 18 year old is out of this world. It's also 43% by Volume so a little stronger than standard spirits.

Since it normally retails in Tesco at £39.99 and £42 in ASDA this represents a very good deal.

Great to drink or great as a present (friends and relatives please take note!) Excellent as a last minute Father's day gift.

Lovely whisky. Not as sweet as the more popular 12yo - A bit more refined. This is a very good £35/£40 bottle of whisky so at £30 I'd highly recommend as a bit of a 'step up' from your usual Glenmorangie/Glenfiddich £20 stuff.

Great whisky can't praise it highly enough, not sure i can justify buying due to my recent clothes binge though....maybe i'll sleep on it
