Well worth splashing out for at this time of year - enjoy!

Is it any good? Recently bought a couple of bottles of Quinta Ruben and was massively disappointed

Brill! The Step-Dad loves this stuff. Only once seen it cheaper than this.
It's aged for 10 years in ex-bourbon casks and then extra matured in Oloroso Sherry butts giving it a very distinctive taste.
Heat added and bought.

That surprises me. I haven't tasted this for a couple years but I thought it was nice, the QR better and the Nectar D'Or betterer. I still have a bottle of NDO 15 tucked away somewhere.

La Santa is very good indeed.

Quite liked it; the nose particularly was lovely, though I did get a few tastes of sulphur a couple of times, and the one I bought was the newer stuff which is more diluted and caramelised I believe, thank it used to be. For £40 though its still complex and good value.
