  got one of these free when tesco had £50 luggage voucher glitch... yet to use it when travelling as I have so many suitcases i'm still using and working through from the glitch but it is lighter than a standard comparable case. shell seems fairly flexible so could take impact fine, especially when almost completely filled but I reckon should any part of the plastic shell get a crack or any damage it will render the whole suitcase useless. Probably unlikely to happen unless you have extremely angry baggage handlers throwing it around!

  Very tempted but 5kg is a lot in weight, last two flights I was on the max weight was 15kg so a 1/3 gone already!!

  very heavy suitcase...wheels and build is not that good. wouldn't withstand more than 1 or 2 heavy handling by airport luggage staff. i had one and filled it with the 25kgs i am allowed and by the time i reached me destination, the wheels were wobbly and handle had cracked.
  
  invest in a proper one, if you plan to use it for long term.

  For £8.50 I don't really care if it doesn't last years. I was about to pay £35 for a case at Matalan if their offer was still on.

  Although it may be cheap it doesnt mean to say its good value. I cant imagine how unhappy you would be to arrive on holiday after a ten hour flight to find your suitcase had cracked open and some of the contents dotted around the airport.
