The Glow Flow LED Tap Light adds a splash of colour to your bathroom and turns any tap into a streaming crystalline light source.

Universal adaptors are included that fit the nozzles of most standard taps. Whenever the water is turned on an internal switch activates an LED light source. Turn off the water and the light goes off too.

Fully automatic, the LED Faucet just fits to the tap and works instantly. Cleverly, the LED Fauceow also includes a temperature sensor so that when the water is cold, the water is lit up in a cool electric blue, and when it's too hot to touch, it changes the colour of the stream to a warm red warning light.

Presented in bright easily-cleaned chrome, as well as being an attractive addition to any bathroom, the LED Faucet light will reassure parents who may worry that kids will scald themselves when washing their hands or brushing their teeth. Children can be told that it's okay to put their hands under the water when the light is blue, but when it glows red they need to add more cold water.

So, for extra colour and light, or to protect your kids by adding a handy safety feature to your sinks, LED Faucet Lights are a great addition to any bathroom.
good for kids i suppose stop them getting burnt

Sorry - my comment was intended as sarcasm.

I see it as a pointless waste of power - an inconvenience - and entirely needless.

That's its good points too!

I hear the NHS are buying millions of them - and to avoid expensive urine tests - they are attaching them to guys wedding tackle - and if they go red when they p*ss - they know they have been associating with naughty ladies.

okay, let me get this right...

It illuminates running water.

So who sits in the dark with the taps running? Surely it would make more sence to get bath lights? (i thing play did them before xmas) that illuminate the bath.

Sorry gotta say waste of money but hey, each to thier own.

Will a Light stop young children from scalding themselves?? Best not to ignore your kids in my opinion. my 4YO and 2YO have never scalded themselves, but then I educate them about hot and cold (and right and wrong)

that and I turned down the boiler temperature :whistling:

Its hard enough stopping my kids from messing in the sink and splashing water all over the bathroom anyway without this added attraction, although I have to admit this is quite impressive for a bit of tat and I am impressed HA HA! :w00t:

Just reading a customer review from play

mmmm : "it's very useful for stopping kids getting burnt when they use the bathroom at night"

I will probably order one, I love all these light things :) I will also remove my bathroom bulbs, so this has to be used :)

Looks like a great item, but I don't think I could spend £12.99 on it.

I could manage £4, maybe a fiver. Not £13.00 though!

I'll keep my eye on the price :)

virtually every night when i wake up in the early hours!!, if i put the bathroom light on it wakes me up too much ive broke glasses in the bathroom sink not being able to see properly, if this is not for you then fair enough but a lot of people probably think its quite a neat idea!!

Good point about education, but I think it's a bad idea to turn down the tap temperature too low. Much better to teach kids to treat what comes out a hot tap with extreme caution. Otherwise what happens when they use someone else's tap, or one of those "instant boiling water" taps that are becoming more popular? They'll be sueing McDonalds for serving hot coffee next. Oh hang on, they did...

Pointless tat that's destined for landfill by the way (won't even call it a gadget).

I bought one of these for the same reason (and because I like the blue light its emits! The red light is good but I prefer the blue, its brighter in my opinion) I have found it really useful when I get a drink and don't want to wake up fully from the main lights. I recommend it

Seems like a cool 'mood lighting' novelty item, shame there's so much focus in the manufacturers description on it being a "safety product". I'm sure it looks nice but at £12.99 I'll have to pass. If this was £3 at dealextreme I might reconsider.

Do you go for a pee with the lights off too? if so, I hope you're a good shot then.:-D

Anyhoo, isn't drinking water that comes from internal storage tanks a bit iffy? Better just to keep a bottle of mineral water next to you.

All in all, it's a total and utter waste of money:p
#36
Thats given me an idea, how about a light around the toilet rim when you lift the cover
#37
I think these are cool but I wouldn't buy them, I've got more important things to spend my cash on like food, and the mortgage. I know my hubby would love them - but then he's a boy isn't he?
For the record, I also go to the loo in the night and don't put the light on. Obviously I was my hands, so thats in the dark too. Our tap gets very hot and if someone has run the water in the last few mins the water in the tap will still be very very hot - painful on occasion! Something like this would be useful for that reason, but with a little bit of care when shoving your hands under the tap - unnecessary....
[mod]#38
what have i started lol
#39
Put it on an outside tap and create an inexpensive and effective water feature. :w00t:

i think firefighters should use it lol
