Went out looking for their £14.99 one but none in stock. So picked up this one instead. Never used an angle grinder before but this seems like a well made and put together tool. The soft start and adjustable speed is great. There is just one metal and one masonry cutting disc provided.

Check and reserve online.

The GMC power tool company has fallen into receivership but its administrators are confident of selling the business and saving jobs.
Melbourne-based GMC, which employs 45 people in Australia, has a current turnover of $100 million with markets in the United States, Britain, Italy, Germany, France, Canada and New Zealand.
Its brands include GMC, Triton and Redeye.
Administrator Leanne Chesser of KordaMentha said her objective was to sell the business as a going concern.
"We are seeking immediate expressions of interest and expect a sale to be completed in the short term,'' she said.

when a company does items like this 8" Mitre saw
for £30.00 I would beware.

BUT the reviews are good for a strictly DIY tool.

Apparantly on par with RYOBI (?)

If you want a cheap Angle grinder then you could do worse than Maplins offering at £12.99

Or for £7.50 there is a 750w one at ebuyer.
i'd probably stick away from this co.

Carbon fibre and Magnesium? Sounds like the spec for a tool for the space shuttle.
If it were Dewalt it would be £400 for a spec like this.
If this is not a gimmick, it makes an excellent tool for regular use being so lightweight.
But sometimes the weight is required to assist resist the knock backs whilst grinding - so is light weight really required.........
Still HOT for the spec:thumbsup:
