Been waiting since feb for this to hit kids am, and on my little ones birthday too, sounds like a cheap birthday treat to me :-)

Little do humans realise that when they are away, the gnomes will play. But can a boy and a girl from warring red and blue gnome families ever find true love?

Now booking on the following dates:

29th April, 30th April, 1st May, 2nd May, 3rd May, 4th May, 5th May, 7th May & 8th May

You seem to have posted this twice. This one should be expired.

Crap film, really boring, even the kids in the cinema watching it only laughed twice through the whole film. (Not voted as for a £1 it maybe worth a look)

Great film, adults and kids alike chortled all the way through when we saw it last Sunday at the Apollo in Piccadilly. Much much better than I thought it would be.
#5
This really is a bad movie and is not even worth the £1
#6
Kids loved it, I didn't think it was too bad and it's not too long if you don't like it
#7
Can't be any worse than Gulliver's Travels...that was a quid wasted!
#8
alas, some peeps will complain about anything . . .

£1 per ticket to watch a movie . . .regardless if it's bad or not, is still great value for money - get's the kids out, benefits those families who cannot afford the top ticket prices, we all know going to the movies is expensive . . . but nobody forces us to go there or buy the food

A pub charges £3-£4 for a bottle of beer, which we can all buy for 50p or less . . . we are paying for the service / environment not just the product

NB the dates do not include the Scottish Sites - whose Half Term ends this Monday

It has nothing to do with the half-term holidays. In England the Easter holidays end this Monday too, but we also have the following Friday off for 'the wedding'.

I used to do that, then we turned up as usual recently and they were already sold out. We book now, especially as if you book you can choose where you sit as well.

And Purley Vue used to open 5 minutes before the film started, so it was a nightmare trying to get a ticket before the film started!

It's 70p per ticket. Still worth £1.70 each for a trip to the flicks IMO :)

Hmm, don't quite follow the logic there.

70pp per ticket is probably swallowed easier on a full price ticket but on a kids £1 ticket that's an increase of 70%, surely they only need to charge for using your card once. 70p per transaction would be better than 70p per ticket.
This is one of the highest charges I have ever seen and I am not alone.

Film was awful, btw, but it kept the kids happy (just) for 90 minutes!
