God of War 3, Darksiders (PS3) £5.00 & more deals @ Sainsburys in-store

I was in Sainsburys High Wycombe today and saw they were putting some games, blu-rays and dvds out on shelves. I was told to come back in half an hour when they'd be ready and found a few good PS3 deals to be had.

The ones that stuck out to me were Darksiders and God of War 3 but from the photo you can see a few other titles at similar prices.

There were a good 5 or 6 copies left of each. Not sure if this is specific to High Wycombe though.

EDIT - They also had Halo Reach for £8 but that was the only decent Xbox title I think. I didn't think to get a photo because I don't own a 360.

Alpha Protocol is also worth picking up at that price but it is a very hit and miss title.

Also had some fun with Red Faction Guerrilla.

Checked my Sainsburys and everything was full price although I've not seen God of War in there for ages and ages (they did have plenty during of the pokemons etc during the last sale) so guess it was just your store. Lucky find,

Thanks OP just been over to my local and got Medal of honour for £5, Dead rising 2 for £6.99 and PES 11 for £5. Osmaston Sainsburys in Derby if anyone interested.

They have had all these for a while. I grabbed about 6 or 7 games in one go. Transformers: War For Cybertron I loved (another £5 game).

This is an old thread that someone has bought back as this sale started about 4 weeks ago, the sale prices have mostly finished now and most if the games have gone back up in price. e.g. God of War 3 was £5 up to a couple of Weeks ago, then it went up to £10, went in there again today and its £15 now. You may find a few odd ones cheap still, but not many.
