Well worth it for these great games, or delete some of the lesser stuff :)

Certainly better than the £18 it's stubbornly stuck at for ages, but it's also one biiig download. I'd probably get a call from by provider waving a 'fair usage' flag at me.:p

I thought the 7gb infamous download was big heat added

HUGE download but worth every single KB 8)

I bought this for £15, minus the 25% discount I got because I bought the £20 cards for £15 (so £11.25), and will trade my disc copy in at Gamestation for £15 credit (HMV's £14 + £1 price match beating). Therefore I keep it, I can have it on the console instead so I can be lazy and just click a button, and get £3.75 back.

Well aren't you thrifty :)

I never played God of War, but gametrailers said this remake is very well done.

I can download overnight, I'm unmetered from 1am till 8am, and thank goodness I got the 320gb version not the 160 hehe.

Just got to wait for my PSN card to come from 7dayshop :)

Where did you get £20 cards for £15?

It's on Amazon for £15.80. I would rather have the discs.

£15.80 plus £4.99 shipping - sold by Express Games on Amazon

I found out that I've had £16 on my account for aaaaages the other day, totally forgotten it was on there. So I might get this, but I ask, will these appeal to someone who never played the ps2 originals? Will they seem outdated at all (I know graphics are updated, but I mean gameplay wise)? Alternatively, anything else that people would recommend for £16 worth of credit?

Good price. Got it for around £18 a few months ago, platinumed both games and then sold it for about £14. I'm not too fond of having stuff on my HDD. I prefer disc versions of games

good luck selling it on ebay after you complete it

That is the trouble with PSN downloads, you can't sell them on and get back some money.

Why do you need to sell it? It is £15, and worth more than that.

Be happy that you can get two great games for a cheap price, rather than finding problems.

I can't believe that PSN actually has the cheapest price on something!!!

Decent deal but would rather pay an extra fiver for the boxed version.

They have them on Zavvi occasionally. I think 7dayshop has £25 for £20 roughly.

i can find a problem - actually 18gb of it.

thats a massive download, which would take a normal person at least a full 12 hours to download, maybe longer. plus 18gb of HDD space for people who have the 40gb ones would mean no space for owt else.

personally even though this price is best, the discs win as once you have completed and platinumed it, there isnt any replay value really. you are stuck and will no doubt need to delete it off your system as a bunch of games need big installs.

for the truly lazy, its great. for those who value their HDD space and want to finish games and sell them, then its not great.

i have infamous to download and its 7gb - and right now on my 120gb hdd i probably have less than that spare - am i ever going to download it? probably not.

Im the miniorty here in that I like digital download, I love just simply pressing the controller and being able to pick a game to play - for me once a game leaves the drive and is put away on the shelf its unlikely to get played again, where as when i see it on a list of available games, one click from booting up, I tend to stick at them for longer (GTA4 on Xbox360 being my best example).

zavvi have never had 25% off codes though so thats a lie.

and nobody is supposed to sell £20 codes now - its all £25 and £35.

i have a £25 one i got from hmv for £20 that is due any day now. but wont be using it on this, i have the disc and they are far better to own.

I never played the PS2 originals and bought the collection just before GOW3 came out so that I was caught up for it
.
The second you start the first game the graphics don't seem all that great, just like a cleaner up-scaled PS2 copy (which is what it is really). However by the end of the game you don't care as you become adjusted to it and the gameplay is a lot of fun.
The second game is a different story, better in every way, I was shocked at how good the graphics were and some of the set pieces for an up-scaled PS2 games.

Definitely worth a buy.

1. Don't call me a liar http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/3084/unledty.png See, 5 for £75, instead of £100. Yes, I was simplifying with £20 for £15, but in the end, that's what it was.

2. Yes, the £20 codes have gone, been replaced by the £25 ones. So? I didn't recommend anyone time travels back to when they were that price, I just said I happened to have it and thus it made it an even better deal. If you get a £25 for £20 (like http://www.7dayshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=777_15&products_id=111377, £25 for £20.99, minus Quidco etc is almost £20) then thats still a 20% discount which is still pretty good.

Next time I make a post, shall I say exactly when I got them, for the exact amount, or just go with the fact that yes, at the right times and by looking around, you can get 20-25% off of PSN codes? Like people previously knew you never had to pay full price for Xbox Live because it was always much cheaper somewhere.

Exactly, I like the convenience. All my PC games now, I prefer through Steam, as its easier and more convenient. I can never be bothered to pick up God of War at times and sometimes just want something to play thats already on there, like the PSN games. So this is ideal, and cheaper.

Some of us don't just flog a game because there's no replayability. Otherwise I wouldn't own half the movies I own, and would never have bought a lot of games. To me, there's still replayability in this, far more than in any shooting game (unless it has co-op), because I can't STAND online multiplayer.

And how have you filled up a 120GB hard drive when you dislike download games so much?
#27
Does anyone know if you can download games to an external hard drive?

Not with Official Sony System Software & content downloaded from PlayStation Store.

What 3D trilogy? They announced the 2 PSP God of War games being release on PS3 as a Collection like this in HD, 3D and with trophies. I don't think they said anything about a 3D GOW trilogy

They are talking about the PSP games being redone, I guess they got confused.
