worked like a charm with Shaw Academy, iPhone app photo and email to Amazon. Not enough heat to give!!!
Yes
I ordered a graduate one, despite graduating 10 years ago, I has arrived fine.

Has anyone else's been printed upside down? In that one side is the different way up to the other?
Thanks a lot for this :D cheaper drinks in town £1.50 a pint instead of £4.10
Signed up to Shaw Academy , applied for NUS card for 3 years, downloaded NUS extra app , used NUS card number to half the cost of my Spotify subscription , sent screenshot of my account page on app to Amazon using the email address posted in this thread , got 6 months free and gonna cost £39 a year instead of £79

Savings of over £200 over 3 years just from Spotify and Amazon Prime

Will use to get myself student tickets at cinema now so even more savings

Thanks so much OP , saved me a fortune and can't wait to start my online sports and nutrition course ;)

CHEAP WAY TO ACCESS NUS EXTRA CARD
Zero requirement to buy anything nor be studying to apply and obtain an NUS card. The requirements appear to simply be the ability to upload a JPEG photo of anything and ability to throw £12 at a website.
Probably explains why you need Unidays for most student discounts these days then...
TBH I suspect it is simply that Unidays are more proactive about pushing vendors for deals for its members. NUSX marketing dept is probably too distracted spending its members' subs at campain meetings down the pub.

very nice little adventure :)

3 great great cities and Bratislava. Slovakia is great, but unfortunately Bratislava is dull.

I preferred Bratislava over Vienna, but Budapest is the best of the four in my opinion.

Takes the same time to get a Starbucks in Prague
I see you talk from experience, how very cultural of you.

Not too bad when you reach the city centre. Very drab looking place from the outskirts though . Personally i'm not a huge fan of Budapest , Prague is awesome & yet to visit Vienna so unable to comment on that.

Hot btw :)

Last week I was on the bus between Bratislava and Prague it was just over 4 hours. Comfortable bus with great WiFi and each seat has a tablet with Internet access, English language films, a few episodes of things like Friends and The Big Bang Theory.

This was a company called Student Agency but bookings are not restricted to only students and cost about £10 each way.

This is a generalisation.

Correct, it is a generalisation that taking children out has a significant effect on their results. I have seen no scientific evidence.

So when a child is sick should the parents should be fined as the child is missing education and will fall behind?
Being off sick and going on holiday has the same end result, missed school.

Before my children took their 11+ exams, they both took a week off school. Not to go on holiday, but to prepare (they were "sick").

A child in primary school can learn more at home in a week compared to one month at school.
A 10 year old child sitting at 11+ aiming for a high score can work out 17% of 50 in less than 5 seconds in their head and these highly qualified primary school teachers often struggle, such is their ability in basic maths. This is a generalisation from experience.

still punishing the parents. always cheap in term time
Just supply and demand. Can't wait until mine are done with school though. :)
Take them out early. The school cannot fine you as the parent won in the High Court.
I took mine out. My son scored 99% in Maths Sats and got 13.5 GCSEs all A/A*. Taking them out does not make any difference.
When teachers go on strike they suffer. Then the school takes children on a residential trip in term time and that's fine.
It is all nonsense. What do they learn in primary school?
If the school fined you refuse to pay any voluntary contributions for trips. The Head of my son's grammar school stated he would never fine parents, although he did not approve of term time holidays. But what do they do just before Christmas?

This is a generalisation.

So do people not mind that it comes from killing dogs? Just curious.
This is all fake fur, no animals involved.
Truth is, as real fur is cheaper to make than fake. Good morning suggested test is to blow it, and it if remains in place it's probably fake. If it swirls and leaves a gap, it's likely real.
Another test would be to take a few strands and burn on a plate. If real, it'd smell like you've singed your hair.
OH, and these coats look scarily like the fur they had on TV. It comes from the racoon dog.http://samlib.ru/img/s/shtajn_f/10/045.jpg

so you london peeps offering cheap accom in your house?
Winter Wonderland is overrated and a scam. Going to places like the London Museum is better, cheaper and warmer
WW is great fun for adults even if you spend the whole time in the Bavarian beer hall.
Seconded regarding WW. It's god awful and RIDICULOUSLY OVERPRICED. You have to buy tokens to go on any of the rides (I took a my toddler along), £3 here, £4 there, etc. There was a roller coaster which was £7 each. It all soon adds up.

That said, before I had kids, our was quite pleasant going for a couple of hot dogs and some drinks in a group of adults.

But yes, generally a massive rip off. IMO.
I live in London and I honestly wouldn't recommend someone coming just for Winter Wonderland in Hyde Park. It's not relaxing, it's jam packed with people corralled around overpriced tourist traps. If the weather isn't good, it's a mud pit. You compete with hordes of people to overpay for bog-standard fairground rides and fake pseudo-German/American/whatever cuisine. There are many worthwhile things to do in London, so it's no big waste to take a look at WW for an hour if you really want to - but seriously, though they pretend that they're comparable to Christmas markets in Belgium, Germany or elsewhere, it would be like a half term village green fair pretending that they're Disneyland.

There appears to be a trend of voting cold or deleting deals for supplements? I got 2 months worth of multi vitamins free from Boots (4 packs) last week but the post got deleted.

Can't say about your deal, but this deal is utter fantasy, Raspberry Keytones are proven to do f all and sh***ing yourself thin isn't a thing either, infact that will have a negative effect on your body. Products like these are often dangerously high in caffeine or similar additives that are dangerous.

Must be healthier than a Toblerone or xbox game!
This will most likely be a con and result in a recurring charge on your payment method being put in place

Absolutely love Budapest, me and the wife go every year as we live near Stansted so its easy to get to, as has been said previously so much to do in the city, food is amazing, booze is cheap, pint of beer and large white wine was just over £2 you can Uber all over the city for cheap and even get one from the airport. We stay at the Corinthia Grand Hotel Royal and I manage to get it for ~£100 a night and its an amazing hotel with a lot of history.
PS: If you go make sure to check out the ruin Bars dotted around the city!
Any good to take a 7 year old to in tow?
depends what sort of fun you wanna get out of your holiday, lol. Of course is ok with a child of that age provided he is a good walker, if he start to complain then you ruin your holiday

Signed up for this to get my NUS Extra Card. I've previously had then via Endsleigh but that doesn't work anymore as they post them to the Endsleigh office. So this works well as a way to get your NUS card. More ethical too, as you are genuinely now a student:-)

So you don't get to have a go yourself?

for 15 quid you think you would get a go in a full spec Drift competition car that has had ££££'s spent on it??

what planet do you live on haha, heat added excellent find op.

I get that it's cheap and don't expect anything special for the price (i did add an emoji to my connect that seems to now be missing). I rather meant what is the point if you don't get to do it yourself. You experience it and learn the theory, then when you're driving back home, you pull in to Tesco car park and try it out for real, I suppose?!

there's a reason its so cheap, who wants to drive all the way there for 15mins of fun. Taking your moms fiesta to a trackday would arguably be more fun (saying that because i wouldnt want anyone to ruin the tires on their own cars).

I went on one of these 'experience days' a while back and haven't looked back since (strictly sideways). You get to learn the basics without the worry of smashing up your own car, well worth the money if its something you're looking to take up.

Here maps has a full off-line mode and it's free too. It's so good that Audi, BMW and Mercedes just clubbed together and bought it from Nokia.

I found Here maps gave some strange routing choices, as in not the quickest, fastest or shortest route. Use google all the time now and it's very good and accurate times and will give option for quicker route whilst driving, BUT you do need data signal for this

buy copilot or tomtom for your android or ios smartphone, much better idea
No need....Google maps does a very good job & it's free
I use google maps as my primary navigation tool after buying copilot and realising its live traffic and arrival time prediction was awful (same goes for tomtom), however its always nice to have when you are in the back of beyond with no signal and need to find your way somewhere! for £20, copilot really can get you out of a jam when google maps falls on its face.
Google maps now allows you to download the maps for your route so when you lose mobile signal you can still use Google maps
cant always prepare though.

buy copilot or tomtom for your android or ios smartphone, much better idea
No need....Google maps does a very good job & it's free
I use google maps as my primary navigation tool after buying copilot and realising its live traffic and arrival time prediction was awful (same goes for tomtom), however its always nice to have when you are in the back of beyond with no signal and need to find your way somewhere! for £20, copilot really can get you out of a jam when google maps falls on its face.
Google maps now allows you to download the maps for your route so when you lose mobile signal you can still use Google maps
cant always prepare though.
You could download the whole UK maps if you really wanted to ;-)
good luck with that, you can only select sections

It is possible to cache the whole country

Who actually bought one of these? The quality is cheap and nasty and pedalling doesn't even work :( I'm not usually one to complain but I really regret buying this and will be sending it back for a refund!

Does it come with the sweaty teenage girl as well?

Some how I don't think you're likely to be coming with a sweaty teenage girl anytime soon, keep dreaming though, the rest of us will be phoning Operation Yewtree :p

Sounds like the only time you get on a bike is to cycle down past the local school, pretty often then I would imagine.

Still got to get there.....
general admission 3 day race tickets are about £90, so £80 per person for 2 nights staying in Lorret de Mar on room only basis, so not a great deal to be honest.
So you think £40 a night with B&Breakfast and evening meal is a bad price?
Read the small print, room only. You can get any of these hotels cheaper by going direct, or via something like onthebeach.co.uk. Also no transfers to the track included, I think you'll be better off staying in or nearer to Barcelona itself where you can get a bus or train into the circuit every day easier than if you are on the coast like these hotels

That Dyson website looks very suspicious.
Why?

No mention of contact details, email, address etc and 'conditions of use' page is blank.
bought one of the compact rollerball from dyson site, it looked new. Bear in mind these are a lot smaller and you will be emptying it each time you use it. We have it for upstairs, ideal!

Finished photography last month, now just started the advanced photography. Also I am nearly finished Sports Nutrition. The courses are of a fantastic quality if you are looking for an introduction to a brand new subject.
How much did you pay for advanced Photography I didnt see it on this offer ?
After finishing the photography course, they have a bit of a sales pitch asking you to take out the membership (£29 per month). I didn't take that out, so they offered me a month trial free. I used the month trial to do a couple of other courses, but unfortunately the Advanced photog started at the end of my trial.
I had too many other things on to do it, so plan to take out a membership soon and do advanced photog and also photoshop or lightroom at the same time.
AP takes 2 months, so in theory it costs £60 (but during this time you can do other courses) too.
Thanks for the reply just got my photography diploma with them wanted to take it further seems to be properly accredited also well worth doing hopefully I get similar offers.

Jeez, the audio in tonights lesson was terrible, missed the last half hour because of it. Sounded like Cher belting out 'Believe' but worse.
I hope the playback recording is OK.

Just read the 3 most recent reviews on TA, not good. The owner responded to each with over defensive, and semi literate replies. I would avoid.
Dog friendly puts me off this hotel.
Voted hot though as its a good price for dog walkers.
