Depends on the size of your feet.

It seems to have made some sort of retro comeback or something.

I dunno but they don't look much like trainers to me, more like those animal type shoes, forget the name. I'd buy but my experience of them is the soles tend to wear out very quickly and the front of those shoes looks pretty thin.

Funny how Gola is seen as Retro these days, yet in my day you would have been called a tramp, and probably given a wedgie for daring to wear them at school. I had a pair of Patrick football boots at school and I was only saved a beating because they had Michael Laudrup's name on them, which I did have to point out. My parents were very wealthy as well, but just total cheap skates.

Ok.there cheap. But there also gross. Like an 18 stone......... cough cough....
#23
how have these trainers been given heat??? shocking brand
#24
Perfect for anyone's middle aged dad!
#25
Wearing Gola and buying your clothes from tesco, was enough to get you beaten up at school in the 90's.
If your dad also had a Skoda, you were in serious trouble!
#26
Which TESCO? went to local 24hr one
#27
Gola though?! Really?! oO

Mickey should not have been there in the first place!oO

Free with a £15 hoody at The Hut.

I had a pair when at uni, nice and cheap for 'poor' students.

Hi-Tec are actually quite reputable in the running world now I believe?
#31
I used to be beaten up at school for wearing gola...no doubt I'd get thrashed for wearing these to my local pub :-(.

Bonus points for mentioning Patrick

That may be so. But at least they're being sold at a price that reflects it. Can't say the same for your Reeboks, Nikes, Pumas etc. Equally synthetic. Equally cheap to mass produce.

Tramp? I think the word was "ragger".

I picked mine up today, I received the grey/red ones. I'm not sure whether I will keep them. The red looks a bit feminine to me.

Very Grange Hill Retro. TK Maxx have been selling Gola for years so must be fashionable someplace, see lots of people wearing them in central London x
#39
All they need is a RRP £99.00 label then people would buy
