Saying an HDMI cable supports 1080p is like saying composite cables support colour -- it's redundant.

True, very misleading. And i don't think the 360 supports 1080p?

No, no... it does. It does 1080p.

A little known fact: prior to the Falcon X360 (ie. prior to the HDMI-enabled X360), the X360 could still do 1080p via component cables. It's just that only some 1080p TVs can display 1080p from a component signal. A lot of HD TVs can only do 1080p from an HDMI feed, even if they have component jacks and say they can do 1080p.

Ah right, didn't know that.
